Certainly an interesting idea for a project...
It does make me wish there was a Pokemon Monster Hunter Game. There's a few Pokemon I wouldn't mind hunting and skinning.

I'm actually waiting for a proper realistic Pokemon drawings. Where it's not drawing a generic Komododragon, colouring or orange and giving it a flaming tale. Or, creating some sort of horrific Geiger-like Arceus that's some hideous half machine and half organic Goat/Antelope thing.
Someone (like me), who drew Lugia, gave feathers like a Penguin (because Lugia and Penguins are both aquatic birds. Just so happens Lugia can fly) and turn his "hands" into more feathery wings. Like actually thinking about it, rather than trying to be as stylishly grim as possible or just tweaking an naturally occurring animal slightly.

Ya know...I was already working on a way to turn Pokémon into D&D 3.5/Pathfinder characters [http://z6.invisionfree.com/Fort_Ticonderoga/index.php?showtopic=1865], but this could be an interesting idea as well for a D&D/Pathfinder campaign.
One question: How is Venusaur a sword? It cannot learn Leaf Blade!
BTW...the last image of Torterra as a literal Wood Hammer is broken. Might wanna fix that.

These weapons would probably be great in a Monster Hunter game involving pokemon.
I really like that Groudon and Kygore sword the most though.
