The grind is horrible and the rewards are barely worth the effort.

go to the boss of my chosen profession grind for eight hours and then maybe have a snack or drink before my stamina meter runs out.

special foods are too expensive and the buffs run out quickly. its more efficient to just by the cheap stuff and hope you don't catch a nasty debuff.

health regens slowly and you're pretty much useless if you take a heavy strike, also permadeath? lame for a game with such rampant openworld pvp.

too many of the characters are dull cardboard cutouts and there is an odd glitch when I try to stare at the sun and it leaves odd steaks for a couple minutes before they go away.

3/10 very suboptimal

Annoying you cannot pick facial features, build or even class at creation. It is randomized. Maybe i didn't want to be a red haired weight lifter with side class of unemployed and wanted to roll something else like a web designer!

Too many crippling and debilitating debuffs which can vastly affect difficulty, such as brain tumors or not having use of lower half of your body. (These debuffs more often then not are permanent and will vastly affect a players game play). Although community are creating ways to help a player if they ever succumb to such a debuff.

The currency system balancing is screwed. A small amount of players earn an insane amount of money from there chosen class with sometimes very little work involved (see Politician or banker boss class) While other classes have to spend 60-70% of there playtime to earn just enough in game currency to survive (see Retail Customer service class as an example) Additionally market prices are constantly rising while most played classes there earnings do not increase or just get nerfed to hell.

Community is arse! Most players want to engage you in combat just for accidentally spilling there pint or even just looking at them funny with intent of causing perma-death on your character. Also classes with overpowered class earnings have a habit of walking over the lesser earning classes making there play time abysmal, backstabbing for power and trolling is also a increasingly worrying problem.

GMs do not do much. They rather it be community support. Players when they wish to do this roll police officer or lawyer class in order to deal with issues such as currency fraud or causing perma-death to characters. Since community can be arse at times these classes can have power trips and do more harm then good. Worse offenders of this are the politician class.

Hacking is rampant, alot of the politician class didn't earn there high currency earnings through learning. Many haven't even met the requirements to even be such a class an example is George Osbourne his work experience was folding towels and suddenly he is in charge of a whole game servers economy! He used his parents vast currency reserves to buy his way to the top of his class, Yet the Community support classes or the GMs fail to act on these issues and he has never been banned from playing the class yet.

A game with terrible unbalanced classes and currency system. Where a small minority of elite classes ruin the game play of the normal more commonly played classes. No GM support and the community support classes made to assist any gameplay problems are alot to be desired too. Crippling debuffs need to be toned down by alot.

Ok, immersion and graphics are top notch. World design is also great, but the exciting-to-boring-blandness ratio is too much in favor of the latter. Expantion rate also sucks. I mean, Space Beta has been up since the '60s, and has still not released to the public. And what the Charactercreation happened with the Moon Beta?

As others have said, character creation sucks. I mean, I got a passive xp-boost, but in return i got a debuff which makes co-op practically impossible. And everybody knows co-op is the way to the endgame, unless you got some insane stats and grind like crazy.

As for the good sides: The community can suck some times, but i chose my profession and guild wisely, and have had no problems so far. Also, the fanfic floating around is awesome! And while the grinding is a hassle, consider the alternative: Being max level with a bajillion gold from the start. Whats the fun with that? Pretty much all you can do is enjoy player housing, cosmetic items and premium consumables. They dont get that satisfying "ding".

From a technical standpoint, it is also great. I mean, no latency, no server crashes, and even though there were reports of hacking, like, 2000 years ago, I think it may just be myths and legends. When was the last time you saw anyone hack?

6/10, but not for everyone.

EDIT: And what's with the isolated servers? There are billions of server-clusters out there, many of which may contain other players, but we have no way of connecting with them. They say the engine doesn't support it, but i hope somebody patches it soon.
