Yeah, I'd like the opportunity to see them live. I did see Scars on Broadway playing with Serj last year though.
That's almost but not quiet like seeing them live. Still would have been pretty cool though.

They are single handedly responsible for the following phrase:

Me: Do you like metal?
Random Person I have engaged in a conversation with: No, but I like System of a Down.

I concur.

Also Serj received millions of dollars from this country then proceeded to act like he is the official spokesman for everything wrong with this nation.
Thought that was Dave Mustaine.

On the topic
Thats a stupid question, as the answer would be a obvious yes.

VICINITY OF OBSCENITY IN YOUR EYES!

Yes
This.

If I must put it in my own words, HELLS YES!

If a tree fell in the woods and no one was there to hear it, would it make a sound?

OT. No
Using Gilbert logic, you'd love to go and see them.

This logic being that the sound a tree makes is akin to 'KEEERRRRTHUDDDDD!'
Gilbert logic wins.

Can you teach me more, oh Wise Munch?
Indeed?

One hand clapping? The exact same sound as a fish flapping about on dry land. Try it, and I'm sure you'll agree.
Surely, the noise varies according to what you clap against?

Clap against wood, you get a thump. Clap against a hollow pot, a clang. Your leg, a clap-ish noise, etc etc...

[sup]No one ever said it was one hand clapping on its own[/sup]

For this display of insolence, you are banished!

I would totally go see them, as they are by far my favorite band. My mom and sister went to see them in 2005 and wouldn't let me come along. If System doesn't get back together, I'll never forgive them. 8 years old is totally old enough to go see system of a down! Right?

yes but aslong as they promised not to play any songs from there last 2 albums
Right there with ya, their last two albums sucked compared to the rest of their work. They would have been good if Daren wasn't hogging the vocals. There's a reason Serj is the lead singer.
Thats not true, Yes hypnotize sucked but mezmerise was amazing!!

No, I would not.
Because I am not a fan.
Then was there really any point in you visiting this thread

OT: I'd see a few videos of them live first because I don't think Serj's style would sound very good live.

I would, if they played near me.

I have seen Scars On Broadway in Sweden and Serj Tankians live concert in Denmark.

Would love to see them play as SOAD.

Bleh. I saw them live once.

They were pretty terrible.

My tastes have since evolved and I don't find them very intriguing anymore.
