If the Escapist was a city?

The Escapist seems to be full of polite people. Note the "seem". I don't what this site will become if the mods didn't take their jobs seriously. But besides that, I sort of pictured this site sort of like City 17, but in a good way. What do you think the Escapist would be like if it was a city?

Well I would probably get mugged by Furburt...

Otherwise I'd see it as... like Big O's Paradigm City. Everywhere else is a wasteland and here in this large dome are the elite of the crop in a paradise. With the occasional rampaging robots, but then the mods that are Big O come around and stop the madness.

I'm thinking of The Nameless Mod's version. Most people are acceptable enough, with the few nutcases and idiots. Or should that be the other way around?

The Mods after all keep the place from falling to pieces, just like in the game.

It would be like a normal city, but twice as big to accommodate Hubilub's ego. And all the streets would be really clean.

I prefer to think of it more as a classy restaurant. It's nice for small periods of time, but if you had to live there you'd go crazy.

It's safe and a refreshing change from more crude places, but there's only so long you can put up with countless fake personalities and forced politeness.
