If the internet was destroyed, never to be repaired again, how would it affect you and the world?

I'd lose 50 percent of my communication methods, and all of my Steam games would suddenly be nothing more than wasted money.

I would be happy. Games would focus on single player experiences. Any multiplayer would be done in person, so you could turn around and converse in person.

at first glance it looks bad...no porn, but then i realized it would destroy 4chan and thats defiantly a plus
The escapist is the biggest thing I use the internet for (I don't watch porn), also, I use it for checking pokemon related things, but I'd make do without it (heck, I might even learn dance/fighting/a second language/etc if I had that much free time (maybe all three combined (dancing-warrior-sign language???))
