I dont have any special skill. I do have guns and know how to use them so I can take advantage of those with skills.

This took some consideration, but I think I might have some features that may help the people around me, case 2012 (the next big election) brings upon the inevitable Apocalypse. First, years of playing video games has allowed my back to soften making it a particularly delectable area, not too stringy as to inconveniently stick to your teeth. My bones have never been broken, so I imagine that my right femur could be sharpened into a fine stick for hunting purposes. My brains could be cooked with eggs, if prepared with care, I recommend the Egyptian Style, as it will give the necessary consistency for pan frying. My scull is wide, with significant depth, to be better crafted into a bowl (Which I suggest for the Aperio Scramble with fried Contra Rump).

My teeth, though not in best condition can be fashioned into jewelry for a loved one, and my heart (and other organs) have been basted with butter for over 20 years, making a delicious appetizer to be fed for nourishment (and of course courage). My bones have significant enough marrow, and body fat, that it can make a fine broth or stock, using the butter basted parts from earlier, can make a lovely soup, as to what that can be cooked in. Well, my ski happens to be just the correct consistency for fine leather, that can be worn, or used as soup sack, or which ever case may arrive.

My hair is consisting of a fine material, with significant thickness to form a cool summer hat, a winter coat, and even a fine wig, as even a sociopath may find their bald spot embarrassing. As, as you can see here, I am quite equipped to assist my fellow man, and they will no doubt find me useful as provider of fine nutrition, and also to cut me open and climb in for the cold winter nights.

I have Hypoglycemia. I'd probably be in a low-blood sugar coma within a week.

If I could manage not to be a complete sugar-wuss however, I'd still be in kind of lousy shape. My only asset would be my respectable ability to thrive under pressure, but that's not saying a lot.

Distill water
Hunting
loose definition of 'cooking'
grow crop
and making improvised weapons with household products

not exactly a 'leader' type of person so that's out of question

I know basic survival shit and I am a pretty good leader in form of organising and such so if I'd found a group I'd probably be able to keep us together.

Basic survival stuff from Boy Scouts way back when. I know a few things about the local flora and fauna - which snakes are dangerous, what poison ivy looks like and so on. I'm pretty darn good at catching insects and small animals, so I could get some protein anyway.
I already live out in the woods, so there are plenty of deer, raccoons and armadillos around for me to eat once I overcome my squeamishness. It's possible to catch armadillos with your bare hands (I did once): they're nearly blind, almost deaf, and really stupid.

But since I don't know how to synthesize antidepressants, I'd probably go insane and kill myself in a month or two. Oh well.

Captcha: Mawarari torbiati. Could be a magic spell, a South African village, or a famous neurosurgeon.

umm. i`m a small town boy with extensive knowledge of weapons and how to use them (i`m a practiced archer, duelist, marksman) I`ve taught myself how blacksmithing so i can make weapons. Been into survivalism for years upon years (since i was 10). I also have had any remnants of morality stricken from me. so i can make hard decisions. i`m good with people and can be a strong leader if needed but i prefer to sit back and make sure the machine is working, not leading it. if you catch my drift. ummm. i can sew, stitch and knit. Plus i work in a kitchen so i cook and clean. i`m slightly knowledgeable of chemicals. Good with machines but better with computers. Can build a sizable shelter in under an hour with just my ka-bar (very nice knife).

Basically what i`m saying here is if shit goes down, i`m the guy you wanna be around when it does.

Well I'm a pretty decent shot I'm CPR and first aid certified, on the emergency response team for natural disaters and I'm paranoid as hell so no one would be in the group who wasn't trust worthy, also I'm stocked up with medical supplies and ammo but no food.

I know martial arts, so I'll become a vigilantie, you know, I'll keep the streets clean from crime, like a superhero.

Not the most serious answer, but it will do.

I have some martial arts training and I work in a concrete factory, so I'd be a good work-horse. I can go for quite a while without food, I can walk for ages. I can tolerate kids to keep them in line. Also I'm fairly big (6 foot 4, 84kg) and I was mistaken for being 30 by someone (I'm 18) so I could be a bit intimidating.

If the world ends I won't have any use for my skills.
Though, if I were left alive in a burning apocalypse, I can hunt, skin, cook, build basic shelters, clean water... stuff. I'd do pretty well actually, until a cute animal came along and wanted my food. Then I'd starve. :[

I can pack a decent amount of crap, know how to get clean water, Practice safe muzzle control, I do not waste ammunition, I know how to maintain the types of firearms that most people are likely to use, am not a very picky eater even when I am not hungry.

I Can not run or climb for long (hard on my joints, bad cardio), but I can walk/Scramble/hike through the brush (Cascades) for at "least" a full day (24 hours) without a break. And on average can manage going without rest, food or even water for around 48 hours without too much trouble (while loaded down with crap), I like the cold, Have a damn good Immune system, and don't tend to ***** much.

Edit: Crap = 150 pounds+ pounds

Well, I've been in the army for the last 3½ years, I'd say that could count for something... Also, I have a pretty good grasp of computers (though I'm not sure how much good that would do me), and a rudimentary understanding of how to service and maintain a car... So I'd say I should do adequately :)

Best Regards ^^
