I am decently handy, so I can do basic repairs to things. Was in scouts for most of my childhood, some of those camping trips had to pay off. My knowledge of basic survival skills is probably slightly above average. I believe that I would last awhile, probably nowhere near as long as some, but longer than the average person. Handgun in the other room wouldn't hurt either, I get the feeling the US will end up a warzone. So it might be needed. Not sure how good of a shot I am with a handgun, though I am decent with a rifle. Just don't have one.
Let's see! What can I do? Uuuummm... I'm an animator, but I also have some interest in crochet and always wanted to learn how to make my own clothes, but never got around to it! So my big contribution would be... last-resort food. You know, I always pictured this scenario in my head. Doctors, teachers, even lawyers (provided they can dump the legalese and focus strictly on negotiation) would be essential in post-apocalyptic circumstances. But people in the entertainment biz? We'll probably be the first to be eaten.
I'd like to throw down the uterus card, if I may. I'm fully capable of procreating and rearing young. I've been raising kids my whole darn life. I have decent survival skills, though they mostly hinge on me protecting myself and my charges from harm, exposure to the elements, and starvation. Don't know how useful I'd be in a fight, though. I'm persistent if not flat out tenacious, to give myself a small bit of credit.

Yeah, my skills are pretty good. I've done a fair bit of camping and hiking before, know how to use a map, do a bit of bushcrafting, fire a gun, wield and axe. Also I have quite a good knowledge of science in general, particularly biology, so (1 could rebuild civilization with farming & (2 could make moonshine.

I'm 6' 5'' and built like a brick shithouse. If you need a ditch dug or a hundredweight of something moved from point A to point B, leave room for me in the Fallout shelter. The trouble is I'll probably be needing double rations...

But putting the fact aside that I'd be pretty much useless, I can teach children stuff. I know a lot about things in general. Most importantly, perfect grammar and spelling so our kids are at least able to keep a hold of our language.
But something that could be pretty usefull is the fact that I know how to keep water clean, build a steam-engine and how to take care of smaller medical problems like cuts and stuff.
