Well if god was real that would mean Satan would be too, so I'd summon a demon and get myself immortality and dark powers for the price of taking over the world in his name. Fun times.

Find out where satan went wrong and learn from his mistakes. It's an all or nothing gamble, but imagine if it payed off...

When did God ever claim to love anybody? That was Jesus. In fact, if you read the Old Testament, then quite the opposite is true. God ends up killing very many people for idiotic reasons. Which is a bit weird when he does a complete 180 in the New Testament.

If I may paraphrase Richard Carrier, if I had to sit for the rest of eternity in Heaven, knowing that people just like me were burning in Hell for eternity, and that there was nothing I could do to save them, that would be Hell.

There are a number of reasons for which I still would openly defy Yaweh, even if he were proven to be real. First off, consider all the evil things that his own book attributes to him. Let's take for instance the 10th plague in Egypt. According to the bible, Pharoah was actually ready to let the Israelites go multiple times before the 10th plague came about, but the bible actually says that God hardened his heart so he wouldn't let them go. All this was, of course, building up to God's finale, the 10th plague; where he killed every first born Egyptian child. Think about this, some of these children must've still been babies, and if God hadn't hardened the Pharoah's heart, then he wouldn't have killed innocent children. And this is only one of the attrocities for which the biblical God actually seems quite proud of himself. This is not the God whose heaven I want to go to.

Heaven is described in the bible, and actually sounds pretty shitty anyways. According to the passages that I recall from when I was in bible school, to get in, all the parts of you which are unacceptable to God are BURNED away before you can get in. Meaning that you're actually a different person by the time you get in. Once you are in, you just spend all day worshiping God; and as much as I enjoy worshiping God, I really don't enjoy it all. Yuck city, seriously.

So, for those two reasons, that I feel that it'd be more honorable to go to Hell than bow down to tyrant Yaweh, and that Heaven kind of sounds like it sucks anyways, I really don't think I'd change my tone that much.

If it is indeed the Christian god, that I thought I knew for all of my childhood, and (thought) I had finally learned different I might shout "SMITE ME, OH MIGHTY SMITER!" as I often have, and then be dead.

EDIT: Or become some sort of Satanist, because I suppose that if there is a God, than Satan exists, and thus magic. And I've always wanted to be a wizard.

If it is any other god, then I'd probably repent.

I do believe it's mentioned someone in the old testament.

But quite honestly I couldn't care less. I suppose it has merit for being thousands of years old, but by today's standards I find it a pretty boring read.

Well, obviously I'm replying in terms of what I'd hope I would do rather than what I would actually do, but...

No, I wouldn't change much, not if God just vomited the Bible in my face personally rather than by proxy. I've already read it and for the price asked, I don't want to buy what he's selling. If he was willing to answer a few questions, now that's a different story.

Of course, there's always the less noble possibility that I might just soil myself, repent immdiately and clear my schedule for every Sunday from then till Judgement Day. I *think* I know roughly how much of a coward I am, but coming face-to-face with omnipotence for a full and frank exchange of views, that would be something of a litmus test.

If the bible is entirely true i'm sure jesus died to save our sins (something like that) wouldnt that mean we will go to heaven anyway .

This is assuming there is going to be some crazy (indirect, as it may be) God vs Satan thing.
I'm sort of imagining this in the same way the Mages Guild hunted down Necromancers (in Oblivion).

If God enters reality, then he is just a man with great power and knowledge. If God cannot (unlikely given his power) or does not desire to convince me to side with him then I'll continue to do what I always do: Solve the mysteries of God.

I'd (In this order):

1. Kill God
2. Become the new god
3. Put everyone up for execution just to see the expression on your faces

(N.B. Bad mood ((Deal with it)))

P.S.

"SMITE ME, OH MIGHTY SMITER!"
Be original. Bruce Almighty... -_-
