There's a sort of half video game museum. It's more of a computer and console museum. It's in Swindon, UK. http://www.museum-of-computing.org.uk/

OT: Why's no one said Tetris? Or that snake game we played on Nokia phones back in 2000?

Portal. Obviously

Deus Ex. Duh.

Doom.

One or two of the Mario games.

Pong. Just because.

Fallout 3. Even though I don't really like it. Maybe the originals as well.

The Mass Effect trilogy. Y'know, once it's done.

One of the System Shock games. Maybe both.

Bioshock. Maybe.

...

That'll do for starters.

Well a video game would never be in an art museum. So i dont think there would be any in it.
That's why the question begins with an "if".

Bioshock is a complete work of art. Art Deco to be exact. Very, very talented arts department on that game.

1: Okami (excellant art)
2: Braid (same thing)
3: Shadow of the Colossus (astounding game play and great scenery)
4: Kirby Crystal Shards (by merit of being incredibly deep for a game about an adorable pink ball)
5: Bioshock (beautiful soundtrack and graphics)
6: Deus Ex (never played it, but some say it is the greatest game ever created, and evidence supports that theory)
7: Cave Story (cute and artsy, but very deep at the same time)
8: Prince of Persia: Sands of Time (astounding scenery and character develoupment)
9: Portal (peerless gameplay and use of dark humor)
10: Fire Emblem (by merit of having the most well rounded characters, peerless AI, astounding story, and flat out awesome animations for a sprite-based animation style)

I think a video game art museum would have many exhibits in it, with more than just one type of games (although I thing that video games would probably be in a regular museum).

There will be one on
? classics like pong and Tetris
? Games that revolutionized gaming
? Games that are so good that were ?FUN?
? ?Hidden gems? (games I?m not sure everyone knows about)

Stuff like that. I could say what games I think go in these categories, but??I?m sure someone out there would disagree and wine about my selection.

WELL YOU KNOW WHAT??I?M GOING TO TELL YOU AnY Way so Naaaaaa??.

In no specific order off the top of my head?..Bioshock (1 & 2), Portal, L4D (1 & 2), Portal, LofZ Ocarina of Time (I believe we all know what L of Z means...Right), the Half life series, the Halo series, Mario games (some not all), Luigi?s mansion, Viewtiful Joe, batman arkham asylum, Assassins Creed (1&2), Prey, Star wars Republic commando, Voodoo Vince, Pychonauts, Kung Fu Chaos, Cel Damage, Stubbs the Zombie, the classic Sonic the hedgehog, ??.[in hailing]??? and Marvel nemesis rise of the imperfects.[panting}

That?s all I can think of know, there?s more that deserve A SEAT OF HONOR in my art museum, but I don?t think anyone wants to know every game I like/liked since I started playing video game.

I'm going to add in the Myst series. Every single scene was specifically composed as something the player would see. It's also full of all sorts of symbols and a riveting universe. I hope the movie is true to the high standards of the series.

Well ive already had people tell you what i want, but i still think we should put all games in an art museum. Some the hall of Shame, some in the hall of Potential, Hall of bad, Hall of Poineers, Hall of underrated, hall of overhated, hall of good, hall of the best. Just have all the gaming community work together to immortalize are art form in the way we want.
