How would your life be different? Let's say Pong wasn't invented, Shigeru Miyamoto decided to become a plumber instead and Tim Schafer got rejected from Lucasarts.

A pretty different universe, maybe more music, more art, more dance-y thingy stuff.

Anyway, imagine this universe without videogames at all, where would you put your 20+ hours a week into?

I'd either build gundam models or watch porn... ... ....or both.

well, video games make up but a fraction of my life, an important one, but a fraction nonetheless. without them, i'd just be spending more time on my other hobbies. and i'd probably be studying something different

I'd bet a lot of people would be a tad bit more healthy and we'd all probably be a touch more intellegent. We'd all be stressed out, pissed off and wanting to really kills something too. Not too much would change all in all.

Actually yeah, the thing is I think we would probably play flash games and scripted games. You said if VIDEOgames (consoles and on PC) never existed, but we would probably still have flash games so I would play that.

Or just focus more on music and playing in a band.

I think I would have been more active and kept up my sports/athletics. I would have been fit and healthy, now I'm trying to get active and healthy at a point in my life where it's harder to do.

No actually, if it weren't for videogames, no one would get the idea of making flash games. If they never existed we wouldn't care because we wouldn't know they ever existed.
