If WoW would shut down what would you do on the last day?

It would be rather bittersweet for me.

Long before my fiancé and I got together we liked gaming as we were in different parts of the country and WoW was the one we spent most time in. It sounds rather sad to me now but I have a lot of fond memories of the game in TBC period because of that. Not to mention I met some genuinely lovely people that I had a lot of fun with.

Over the years I've come and gone from the game and these days it leaves a bad taste in the mouth. I honestly wouldn't mourn it's passing greatly as it doesn't hold the same appeal any longer. If it was announced the game was going offline I'd likely do what some others have said; take some screenshots, do some retro-raids and just take one last look around.

What would I be doing? I would break out the bottle of 1970's Port I've been saving for no reason in particular and celebrate.

I'd just read comments from existing players and continue playing whatever I feel like at the time.

Pretty much this. Specifically I'd dance in the middle of the largest town I could find and go on about how Guild Wars has always been better and how Guild Wars 2 is gonna make them all realize just how badly they've been wasting their time.

Mass ritualistic suicide and orgy.

I don't even play the game
Which one of them comes first? The suicide or the orgy?
Well the orgy was a bit of an after-thought, so I'm going to say that both are going to go at the sametime. It'll be a blood orgy the likes no server has ever seen.

Id have sold my account the moment I heard. They cant exactly ban and Ill be damned before I let all my years farming go to waste but whats the point in farming more if you know its over? Youd have like 2 years notice on something like wow, so if you sell quickly it still long enough to be valuable

If they planned something, then I'd buy one last month, join in the chaos that would ensue, clear as many raids and beat as many bosses as possible, and on the final day, take my Black Proto Drake Mount and fly across Azeroth to reminisce. I made many a friend while playing, though most all of them were lost with each subsequent guild disbanding, so while the game holds many fond memories, it also holds many bittersweet ones as well. So at the end of it all, during the last few minutes of the game, I'd fly to Nagrand, one of my favorite zones ever, pop in some soothing music, and just take in the last glimpse of this wonderful world that ate up so much of my life, yet for whatever reason I could never truly hate, and shed a silent tear as the game locks up and I have to ctrl-alt-del to turn the game off. And as a small memorial, I'd leave the game on my computer for as long as possible, if only to remind me to never let myself get sucked into such madness ever again.
