Yahtzee is pretty much a game critic who despite choosing it as a vacation destination apparently also has something of an axe to grind with the USA. I don't see where he would have much to say about this one way or another, at least not in any kind of a professional capacity. In a non-professional capacity he probably thinks cancer blows chips like the rest of us. He's also commented on things being a downer before in his reviews, so I get the impression he prefers things to have a happy ending of some sort, and this ends on a depressing note.
On a somewhat unrelated note I am sort of neutral about this paticular ad as it's directed towards collecting donations for cancer research. I do not know anything about this paticular group, but I have become increasingly pessimistic of "research foundations" dedicated to specific diseases and conditions. Largely because right now we already have some pretty effective treatments for things like Cancer, HIV, and numerous other conditions, albiet none of them are 100% effective. The big problem as I see it is that right now treating things like cancer is ridiculously expensive, it seems even countries with socialized medicine have problems with dealing with cancer treatments. I think more effort should be spent in proliferating the drugs and treatments we have now in order to lower the price, rather than developing constant numbers of new treatments for rich people (or those able to appeal to charity foundations). Those treatments tend to invalidate the old ones, and stay bleeding edge, only to replaced by even better ones later with very little actually trickling down. I mean we have made progress and some things have, but I'd prefer to establish a good base of accesible treatment with what we have now before we start handing off more and more money to research foundations to develop things most of us will likely never have availible if we need it.
