If you can't beat the game - if you can't solve the puzzle, you're nothing but a loser.

I rarely finish games really, although I am getting better at it. I got to the last mission on GTA4 and just couldn't be arsed with that bloody journey I had to go through every time I died, why couldn't it skip those and let me get to the action.

Diablo II - single player, hell mode, no cheating.

Simply cannot be done any longer with the latest patches, and believe me, I have tried.

You talikng 100% completed or just the storyline? I cannot beat Kayne and Lynch, the bit with the helicopter! It's impossible!
I meant just the storyline, but I'd also be interested to see who's bothered getting 100%... :)

Stalin vs. Martians. I quit the game after the first mission only because it was so fucking horrible.

Jak 2. I didn't beat it when I was about 7 because I sucked, and now it's sold so I don't havethre option to play it.
I still have to beat that one too. :D

I can't remember why I haven't......it was a good game, but I don't think I liked the general atmosphere of it.

I've never finished GTA4, for actually the same reason as the OP.
Also, I've been frustratingly stuck on the last boss of Luigi's Mansion on Gamecube since about 2 months after it came out.

Too many to list. One notable example is Yoshi's Island DS where I constantly lose on the stage just before the final one. The huge length of the stage combined with stupid checkpoints, falls to oblivion and annoying enemies have sealed the deal for me. I have been trying this stage every once in a while for 2 years and after losing about 10 lives, I get frustrated and close it not to approach it again for a long time.

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3
I gave up on that after failing the second to last Japanese mission by about 5 seconds.
Twice.
You made it farther then me, I gave up after the Soviet mission where you have to destroy some Japanese harbour or something and then once you've done that, that jerkov (see what I did there?) General comes along and you have to make sure he survives while you destroy the rest of the Japanese base. That guy just pissed me off!

What you don't know is that I got to the 4th Soviet mission only, and also got stuck on the Mount Rushmore level for the Allies. Still, that mission was bloody hilarious!

I just cannot get into Oblivion, which is strange because I'm obsessed with Fallout 3. I got through the castle/prison, created my own character, emerged into the open world, went and killed some guys, then got bored. Yeah, I might go back to it, but for now I have the buyer's remorse :\

This. So much so.

Also: I gave up on Portal. I couldn't solve one of the later puzzles. I'm so ashamed.

Only a few things good came out of it

1.FFX-2
2.Auron
3.Sin
4.Anima(I guessed the coords :D)
You didn't like FFX but you did like FFX-2? I'm not disagreeing, I'm a big fan of both. I just find it odd that you can be a fan of the genre (and X-2 in particular) but not like FFX which is one of my all-time favourites.

Oh really? Well I got fed up with the whole game after that, well that's not true. I tried a skirmish battle against the computer after my loss in that mission, and after getting me ass handed to me, THEN I got fed up with the whole game. I didn't enjoy Red Alert 3 as much as Red Alert 2.

UNACCEPTABLE!

No just kidding, I had my 16 year old brother solve them for me.

OT: I could never beat Metal Gear Solid for the PS1.
Just running up the endless stairs on the Communication Tower was so ridiculous, I just quit and never came back to it.

I have to agree.
While I found RA2 hard in places, I still enjoyed it enough to keep on trying.

Oh dear... I just realised I suck at RTS games...

I've never finished a C&C game, besides RA1...
