I'd ban people from wearing their jeans/trousers so low that you can see their boxers... :/

Seriously, those people need to get a belt. I don't care if it's fashion. I don't wanna see someones skivvies.
I completely back you on this decision.

I know that fashion does stupid stuff from time to time, and I typically just roll with it. (There was a period where wearing overalls only done on one shoulder was the "in" thing. Then it was no shoulders, so you had to actually hold them up all day. Reeeeeeedonkulous.)

But the droopy drawers thing? Needs to stop. Pull your goddamn pants up.

Prices ending in .99 (and similar .49, I'm looking at you)- I already usually give them the change if it's less than 0.05 of the denomination, so actually the shops will make more money that way.

Thinking about it, they might have to pay tax over the extra money earned but I don't care.
Similarly, I would ban having the price you pay at the register being different than that on the tag. I know it is because of sales tax, but if that $5 product is going to cost $5.40, then it should say $5.40 on the tag.

And speaking of paying more than the stated price, I would also ban waiters. For %15 I will walk the 10 feet to the counter and pick up my own food. Plus, the whole tipping system just turns waiters into thugs who extort you for money by threatening to spit in your food.

I would ban anyone who had and ever will have a hand in developing restrictive DRM from life.

Steam wont get touched, Anno 2070 suddenly becomes playable again.

I have a few things I'd like to ban:

1. 10 year olds on Xbox Live

2. People who say "I could care less"

3. People who say "irregardless"

4. Tyler Perry (99% of he writes should be subtitled "Black People Stereotypes")

5. Trending topics on Twitter. You ever look at these things? They're either fans of terrible musicians getting defensive, someone dying, or a
random sentence with people saying "Why is this a trending topic? lolz RT if you agree!" or making the same joke everyone has already made about that subject

6. LA Reid.

7. The Bachelor/ette

8. Chelsea Handler. I don't think this woman can go more than 5 minutes without making a joke about someone's vagina. She's one of the least talented people I've ever seen become famous.

9. Delivery charges. I understand why they're there, and I've worked as a delivery guy before (we didn't have a delivery charge) and I know people stiff delivery guys on tips all the time, but I tip well, always have, and shouldn't be punished for it. I'll give a recent example. I ordered a pizza from Domino's the other night for me and my mom. menu price is $8. We were both feeling sick and didn't want to get out in the rain so we had it delivered. By the time it got to us 45 minutes, and after the delivery charge and 25% tip we were out $16. They charged us 6 fucking dollars to deliver an $8 pizza 3 miles.

This makes me sound like I really hate the world. If I had to pick the "low profile" one though I'd go with #9.

People who argue with the chef about how their steak is cooked. Sure, there may be the occasional mistake but for the most part who the fuck is more likely to know what rare/med rare/medium/well done is?
Some jackass or the dude who has had it drilled into his head the exact internal temperature, look and feel of these different degrees.
That is like arguing with a electrician, plumber, doctor or any other professional. I feel like going into their jobs and doing it to them.

Oh and I would ban medium well. You either get medium or you get well, don't give us this made up bullshit.

Me, I'd ban coffee in any way shape and form...and cafe workers all over the world would rejoice over no longer having to deal with annoying customers who want their coffee "just so".

You, sir, have just made a powerful enemy.

Back on topic, I'd ban everyone who says that any area of games is more important then the others (goes double for graphics.) Classes avalable for those who want the ban overturned and teach that ALL aspects are important, not just graphics, gameplay, music/sound, and/or story.

How does Door-to-door religious solicitation sound?

I don't want to ban religion. I just want you not to knock on my door on Saturday morning when I'm still only half awake.

It should be legal to release the hounds on them.

Banners with sound. Every kind of banner with sound. The ones that only sound when you mouse over them. The videos that automatically start. And definetly the ones that you can't fucking shut off without closing the tab!
This 1000 times. Countless of times I have openend a tab only to be bombared with some shitty music for their "Free MMORPG".

Facebook.

Everything has to be done through Facebook now, for some reason.

"Contact us through our Facebook page"
-- oh yeah? what happened to your normal website?

"Oh, you don't have a Facebook? Go back to your cave!"
-- yeah . . . fuck you.
Not quite what one would consider "low profile", but I'm SOOOO in agreement with you. People are literally addicted to Facebook. So bad, in fact, that in numerous surveys, wherein people were asked to put in order the most important parts of their lives (and which of those they can't do without), over 50% of those surveyed put Facebook above flushable toilets. That's right....a large portion of the populace out there would rather go without flushable toilets then not have access to Facebook.

Facebook has literally infiltrated almost every aspect of our lives today. Even worse, despite the immense irony, it's making many of us less social. Think about it, when was the last time you recall having a conversation with someone, at a party or where ever, where someone didn't pull out their phone every five minutes to text someone or check their Facebook page? (gotta love when they do that AS you're talking to them)

And don't even get me started on Zuckerberg's, and by extension Facebooks, questionable privacy policies.

Okay, rant over. Back to being an "anti-social Luddite" who builds computers, regularly reads science fiction/cyber-punk stories, and actually talks to people at parties.

Pop-up windows. Or site redirects. Holy mother of Santa Maria are those annoying. I just want to go where I was going without being pestered or detoured.

People that disagree with me!!!

OT: Door to door salesmen. I know it's there job but I don't want to get up from lounging on the sofa, where I was warm and comfy, put my shoes on and go outside to tell a guy I don't want their electricity. Especially if they say 'but your neighbours have it!' as if I care what electricity my neighbours have!

Passive-aggressiveness.

I get it, you're upset. Don't act (badly) like you're not. It's transparent. Remember that random we walked past on the street? Yeah, she could tell you were upset too. You completely fail to hide it.

A lack of humility amongst people who don't know computers. What it amounts to is that if you don't know computers all that well, you don't get to say "Why isn't it working? I did it the way you're supposed to." Ever.
