Sora since he gets to hang out with Disney characters and is best friends with Kairi whom I had a giant crush on.
Partly I too am tempted to say my version of Commander Shepard so that I can be a bold charismatic leader who is friend to many alien races and seems to be the only hope of the galaxy. Plus it means I get to chill with Wrex and Garrus and have sexual relations with Ashley which is one hell of a bonus for me.
But the more and more this topic comes up the more and more I realise that my answer is still, just as it's always been, the Arbiter from Halo 2 and 3. Because I start out on top and end up at the bottom but then lead my people to freedom from the bounds that held us.
And my people would be the mighty Sangheili!!

Okay, I'll be serious for a moment, this is quite a tricky question to answer, as there are so many characters synonymous with awesome.

The Apprentice from The Force Unleashed. Sure he's kinda a tool, but he has some sweet force powers. I mean he brought down a Star Destroyer using the force. That's like moving a city.

My Oblivion character, because I'd love to be able to see The Shivering Isles and Cyrodiil. Also my character has the best armor in the game and soon will have chameleon.
Ryu from Street Fighter. I could destroy the cars of anyone I didn't like with a series of flying uppercuts, spin-kicks and fireballs. Also, I could win virtually any fight by sitting in a corner and doing the same move over and over again.
