You know the main character from Ape Escape? That would be a pretty sweet gig. On another note, Megaman would be the easiest to be, as I could die a million times, and know why I didn't stay dead.

Probably my Oblivion character given that his sheer resilience and mana regen are insane, he is a master of CQC magic and every school of magic complete with every spell effect, and (thanks to game mechanics) is immune to internal injuries.

Desmond Miles of assasssins creed.. live in both the past and the future and still get the girl... then again... you would be experiencing great great great great grandma(shudder)... ill keep with the fallout 2 guy

PKMN Trainer - Any Pokemon game, Riku - Kingdom Hearts, Kilik - All the Soul Calibur games, or the main character from Dragon Quest VIII....Who wouldn't want to hang around with Yangus, Jessica, Angelo, Princess-Horse thing, and King Trodain (MAINLY JESSICA)

Nightwing. I know it's not really a game character but he is awesome cool and he was in DC vs Mortal combat AND lego Batman, so yeah. Nightwing is f***ing awesome.
Failing that, HK-47. Live forever as a droid, beat the crap out of anyone you want just for the hell of it, life as HK would be awesome. Sadly, you'd have that whole "follow the master" issue, and you'd be a bit prone to memory wipes, but none the less.
