If you could be a party member in any RPG?

Which one would it be? And what would be your class/preferred combat style?
Where would the hero find you? And what would they have to do to get you to follow them?
Oh and would you be a romance option, and if so for what gender(s)?

Oh and and one other rule:
You can only be a Human, not a Turian or a Dwarf or a Chocobo or anything like that.

For me, I have to say I'd be a party member in Mass Effect. I'd be a sentinel. (Blend of "Magic" and "Thief" classes)
I'd probably be found on a crowded civilian area like The Citadel or Illium. And all Shepard would have to do to get me to join the party is come up and talk to me, I'd volunteer my services right away.
Oh and, I'd leave myself open as a romance option for female Shepards... unless my competition is Garrus, I don't think I can compete with him.

I would also be in Mass Effect 1 and 2 (and 3...). I would be the head engineer on the Normandy (an NPC for the first game and party member in the second). Maybe I "died" in the second and came back as a robot with a human brain...

I'm kind of unlucky, so I would be that traditional first (sometimes second) party member in a Bioware game...

I would be in Tales of Symphonia or Golden Sun. I'd probably be a boring swordsman in ToS or a Mars Adept in GS. I wouldn't be hard to find, considering I'd just be sitting in my house. All the player would have to do to recruit me would be to ask. I'm pretty desperate.

I would party up with Jimmy Hopkins. Hiding from Prefects and give wedgies to Algy till he wets himself is the only motivation I need to team up with him. Bully rules!!!

Umm for Mass Effect I would be an infiltrator. I would be found on Omega and I would sign onto the normandy only if shepard wasn't a dick,he/she paid me or he/she brought tali. I would be found chatting with the engineers and hitting on tali...

I'd be one of the crew in Persona 4.

Preferably, the info/moral support person, like Teddie.

I hear he gets replaced, but I'm not that far in...only about 20 hours or so.

Most definitely, something in the far, far future. The Mass Effect world seems like a pretty cool place and time to live.

I wouldn't. Every single party member, cool powers or not, has to fight either all the time, or awful monsters, or both. And if I got sidelined for half the game because the party leader didn't realize that the game designer was going to do the "break up the party" gimmick, I'd end up facing those same monsters but being tens of levels below adequately prepared and would be murdered to death in the first round. Screw that.
