Dante. Because of his fashion sense and chick magnetism. And hey, at least he looks/acts like an actual guy. Not like one of those gender confused tossers from something like Dragonauts or the new Robotech. Christ, for the longest time I couldn't figure out if the lead character in Robotech was male or female.
Second choice would have to be "The Chief" from that delightfully silly anime You're Under Arrest. Simply because that would be the most awesome/funny cop shop ever.

Setsuna Sakurazaki. She's strong, has a huge sword, is quite attractive, and is very close to Konoka. Not to mention that I'd probably do OK with the bodyguard thing since I can get quite loyal to people.

Man this is a difficult choice. Just so many to chose from. I think I may have to chose good ol Tooru Kazama(Georgie Prescott in the english version) from Shin Chan.

I'm a big fan of Ichigo from Bleach. He has a killer sword, great hair, he can fly/float, and the girls dig him. But, he does get points off for having a double personality (Hollow Ichigo) that threatens to take over at any time, usually when he's about to die. Plus, a voice inside your head is just annoying. So with that, I'd have to go with Goku. I mean, he's dead during a good part of the DBZ saga and he still plays a huge roll. Also, when he dies he trains with King Kai, AKA, the God of the DB universe. Kai comes to the conclusion that Goku is a match for him, and then some, he perfected techniques he never could, and he could destroy the universe if he wanted to. Anime is full of badasses, but none other that I know of has gotten the thumbs up from what is essentialy God. What else can I say?
I wouldn't want to stand in the way of the Suiseiseki horde on here, I've loads of people with her as their avatar.
Does it have to be the same gender as you? Then I'd be either Nami (One Piece), Haruhi (The Meloncholy of Haruhi Suzumiya), Haruko (FLCL), Yoruichi (Bleach) or Winry (Fullmetal Alchemist).
