I'd say Mass Effect. One of my favorite games and really has a well developed universe. Really seems like it could be an actual place.

As a character any Bioware universe will suit me, as myself I would hate to live in any game universe. They'd be way too stressful.

I'd like to live in the world of Elder Scrolls (at least, how it is in Oblivion). I'd learn a few mid-level shock spells and become unstoppable.

Well, the thing is, I would be in the game as myself, not the main character. So something like Oblivion or Mass Effect, where the world is big enough to stay out of the main character's destructive path

Well I lost on the Mass Effect post, alternatively Oblivion, the art of sword fighting, adventures to have, caves to explore, and a variety of fun events to experience. Though I would probably get kiled by a passing daedra knowing my luck in TSE4.
