Call me crazy but Metro 2033.
It's as lawless and open as fallout while it has a lot of safe havens that don't get nuked or filled with ghouls. Also, seeing as the world is over and Stalin is most likely dead, leaving a certain red political system still in use... Just thinking about it makes me squeal like a school girl!

I'd book a one-way flight to Liberty City in a heartbeat. To be fair, it's incredibly unsafe and likely an expressway into poverty, but damn if it ain't interesting.

I want to live in Garry's Mod, as long as there would be other people with me. I'd build crazy things with my buddies all day until I got bored. And then I'd figure out how to use Wiremod and build even crazier things.
Mass Effect, easily.
I'd love to live in a futuristic space apartment overlooking the Citadel hanging out with my wacky Krogan neighbour and awkwardly dating a friendly Quarian girl from across the hall. And of course my job would be something involving lasers and making out with Asari girls. Oh and one of my co-workers is a Turian named Gerald.
Plus if I'm lucky I'd get to meet Shepard, Ashley, Wrex, Garrus, Tali and Liara at some point while crossing in space.
Man that'd be awesome.

Mass Effect, because it's easily the best and most immersing world I've ever seen. As long as I'm nowhere near Tuchanka. And I get to make out with asari.
I haven't read the Books but discworld has had games and the fucking wikipedia article made it sound infinitely so...
There was a doctor Who "game Episode" and as I said living in the whoniverse would be AWESOME.
Cave Story's Floating Island would be fun. especially If I decided to explore.
Bionicle had games and I was a fan from a young age. If a had some way of going from one Isle to the next.
