To all of these characters I am one of a myriad god-like beings who can control their actions at a whim, with a simple button pressed or key stroke.

So what has happened? I want context. Is this some Captain N style fantasy, where I am tossed to a game dimension and must obey their rules, or is this some sort of Star Ocean: Till the End of Time plot twist*?

Regardless, my answer is the same. My three Majin from the first Disgaea game because they are brokenly OP and I poop on Hell.

*worst video game plot twist ever

Serious Sam, to kill off anything that comes in hordes
Quote from Cave Story, because he went there and blew it up
A Female Nerevarine, because she is incredibly powerful, and I might get lonely.

Urdnot Wrex, as he could tear through just about anything that got in our way.

Duke Nukem, for the same reason.

Cole Phelps. I haven't gotten around to playing his game yet, but he seems like quite the badass.

Just to be different,
Alex Mercer absorbs massive amounts of damage.
Garrus takes down priority targets
Batman because he's the goddamn batman(Arkham Asylum batman of course)
Like Arkham Asylum Batman was all that great...

Might not be a game character but damn it, I'd take Adam West Batman! He's got Shark Repellent on his belt. It might not be that useful in hell but I'm pretty sure he has a 'solve any problem' gadget somewhere on that belt if he has shark repellent!

Alternatively:
Level 30 Paladin
Level 30 Wizard
Level 30 Cleric

a Level 30 adventuring party is like a nuclear bomb! Nothing Survives.
Plus 2 of them can turn undead. And 2 of them can AoE!

Captain N style fits best. You have some measure to defend yourself like blaster or something and hell runs kinda like a video game with power ups and food restoring health.

Demi-Fiend from Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne, because he's a certified badass who knows his way around demons and hellish landscapes and the like.

Chell from Portal, because having someone as resourceful as Chell (and portal gun) would be useful for traversing the hellish landscape.

And, (for shits and giggles) The Kid, from I Wanna Be The Guy, just because it would be funny to watch him die all the time.

Morte from Planescape: Torment. Funny and his taunt ability would make sure the demons aren't attacking me

Dakkon from Planescape: Torment interesting conversations and he would be badass

Nameless one from Planescape: Torment The dude is awesome and very intelligent and probably even more badass after the game ended...

Crazy basically a sequal to Planescape: Torment where I end up somehow being in the middle of the Brood War and come across the Nameless one while Dakkon and Morte find him soon after. And we go on funny epic intellectual journeys trying to get out the war between the demons of order and chaos.
Omgz. good thing I don't know that much about Planescape outside of Planescape: Torment or i would try to make a fanfiction about this. >_>

First team? Yusuke Urameshi, Hiei, and Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho. There are games for this series, so it counts. Those three have handled demons, powerful psychic humans, and the lord of the netherworld. They win without me lifting a finger.

Second team! Jack of Fallout 1, 2, and 3. That's right, the Vault Dweller, Chosen One, and Lone Wanderer. There's know way that this three of a kind can fail. The very people who take out super mutants, deathclaws, and Enclave soldiers with ease.

Third team! Megabyte, Hexidecimal, and Guardian Bob from Reboot. Assuming I can keep everyone from backstabbing each other (entirely possible, given the circumstances), this is a winning combination for sure! GAME OVER...

Team number four! Ash Williams (Evil Dead games), Duke Nukem (Duke Nukem games), and Serious Sam (Serious Sam games)! So much ammo and one-liners, so little time... Not only would hell freeze over from awesome, but it would also be funny!

Fifth Symphony team! The Main Characters of P3 and P4, plus Aigis during "The Answer". Three characters, all with the wild card for Persona summoning. I think you can see the possibilities. God, what a mess on the walls...

Sixth team...

There was a game! It counts!

With the EXPRESS conceit that, for whatever reason, they would be down with me being the leader- gods only know how drunk they'd have to be for that to happen -and would at no point betray me OR each other...

*Alex Mercer, from Prototype.
*Orochi, from King of Fighters '97.
*Enzio Auditore, from Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

Why these three? Because I'm not leaving hell, guys. I have a man... virus... thing that is beyond unkillable, I have a nature god... demon... thing that can rip out your soul, show it to you, and then crush it while waxing poetic, and I have a man who can come back from losing EVERYTHING to essentially rebuilding an order of assassins to take on dudes who are packing magitech whatchamahoozies up the anachronistic timey-wimey. In short, the perfect Dragon, the perfect Dark Mage, and the perfect Spymaster.

To quote the Blue World Order, 'We just got one thing to say to you... WE'RE TAKING OVER!'

Hey, I might flub it all and get stomped, but heck... what's the worst that could happen? They send me to double-Hell?

We really need to add an "Except Kratos" tag at the end of these threads. Hes a gamebreaker.
