Wow, a bit of anti-patriotism in this thread. Personally, I don't see how patriotism is bad unless it's taken to the extreme (a bit like how America's become post 9/11). I'm proud to be from Texas, but that doesn't make me racist or prejudiced. Some of y'all are assuming that if you're patriotic you're immediately a douchebag. Much of this would depend on your worldview and beliefs.

Personally, I'm a Christian. Thus, based on what I believe, the negative aspects of human nature are essentially a corruption of our original purpose and nature. If I could eliminate sin nature, it would effectively get rid of all of it. And the world would be much different.

The nature I would change is tribalism, from it stems racism, religious hate, patriotism that leads to a "not our country not our problem," way of thinking. when humans notice that we're all human, then the world can start becoming a better place.

Although, the way to do this would not be psychological, but physiological: if all girls had vagina dentata, it would be the guys who would worry whether a girl is talking to them just to talk, or if they're trying to OHMNOM their penis off.
