For games that I could've loved despite one little thing I'd have to say the annoyance in Dead Rising. This can be tied to the boss fights you can't help but walk into, Otis' non-stop calls, pathetic survivor AI, items breaking too easily, severe lack of firearms, camera pains and a time limit.

For games that I loved despite on little thing it would have to be...Jade Empire's incredibly long conversations. Even by Bioware standards the conversations felt enormous.

Mass Effect 2, without universal cooldowns and the exp system from the first. Maybe a working version of the inventory system too, it makes it a lot more fun to customize weapons like in the first :D (Spectre Master Gear Sniper Rifle with High-Explosive rounds and double Railway Extensions anyone? damn, that (probably) one-hits Geth Armatures xD)

DJ Hero, take out those fucking guitar mixes. They just aren't good.

Fallout 3, the ending. 'Nuff said.

I'd either change the soldier in ME2 to tank with 910239 shields like the first one, or make the Grenade launchers take 40 underslung shotgun kills to unlock. Actually MW2 doesn't even count since so much is wrong with that game.

Have extra weapons and armor go to the backpack/item inventory in the original Final Fantasy on the NES. This was fixed in the remakes but it is a huge pain in the original version. There are more but this one comes to mind since I am currently playing it.

I'd shorten the start up time in Persona 4. Sure, it needs time to get the story going but an hour and a half is kind of unnecessary.

Removing the resource system from Mass Effect 2 is a given.

I'd remove odd jobs from No More Heroes 1 and 2. Just throw in missions that require me to fight optional bosses for cash instead. It'd be more entertaining than the mini-games.

Mass Effect 1: Replacing the planetary exploration system with Mass Effect 2's.

Dragon Age: Removing or changing the Fade area in the Circle Tower, that was easily the worst part in the otherwise near perfect game.

Dead Rising: As much as I want to say the time limit, I would actually say the shooting mechanic. I'm not sure how you can change it, but it really needs it.

It did however make it all the sweeter to kill the diver suit wearing bastards

OT: Remove the time limit from dead riseing and replace the retarded ai with some half decent ai

Got to agree with this. I dread that part every time I play. If there was an option to immediately kill the Sloth Demon before he puts you in his trance I'd choose it every time.

I'd improve the story on Borderlands, and improve the colours. I just can't stand that green, blue, white, grey and brown look black, and black still only looks kind of black.

Left 4 Dead 2 - Rochell

Fallout 3 -
Better twist than the President being a robot. I mean how cliche.

Final Fantasy 13: Allow player to freely move their character in-battle. Seriously, what's the point of a sentinel if your other characters are just gonna group around them and get hit anyway?

Borderlands: Create a character or Weapon assembly/dis-assembly shops

MW2: Create your own lobby. The ability to create a game mode that adheres to the creators rules (such as no shotties, no noobtubes, no killstreaks.) This would also come with the ability to see available lobbies and choose one based on your mood.
