I've always wanted to be called Alex (and not Alexandra, just plain Alex). Always loved that name. Last name I would change to Dresden. Just because it's an awesome name. Alex Dresden has a cool ring to it.

Five years ago I legally changed my first and last name, and took my previous first name as my middle name. In court, I cited that I no longer wished to carry my father's name, or be associated with him. I regret those words a little. After a few years spent thinking about it, 5000 miles away, he really isn't that bad. And I probably hurt him rather deeply. So, I regret the words spoken, but not changing my name. I like it.

My first name is Moraelyn. A good dark elven name; or rather drow, more specifically.
