Who would it be? Since they've teamed up with Tecmo Koei to make the upcoming Pokemon + Nobunaga's Ambition I'm sure you've all heard about. It made me curious as to what other crossovers might be good.

If you could pick another dev. crossover to make a Pokemon game, say after Pokemon Nobunaga's Ambition they did another team up with another company, which company/team would you choose for them to work with, and what kind of game would you have them make?

Err, Gamefreak is essentially a part of Nintendo. Just like HAL Laboratory.

Though I guess you're trying to be funny and basically say that "Nintendo/Gamefreak shouldn't really team up with anybody for a Pokemon game" and already disapprove of the team up with Tecmo Koei.

I think it's a fascinating idea and I'm glad that they're open to it. I never would have expected Game Freak to team up with Tecmo Koei. And it gives me fascinating ideas as to what it might be like if they happened to team up with other developers/companies.

Retro Studios. Yeah, they've never made an RPG, but they're also fucking awesome and have handled two Nintendo franchises with massive success.

Rockstar, look at all the games they made that weren't GTA, fun open world sandbox, perfect for a Pokemon game.

Valve. They've already got a knack for the silent protagonist thing, after all.

I'd like to see them team up with Atlus, just to see what it would be like.

To be perfectly frank, I love the idea of a Pokémon strategy game. I think Nippon Ichi's Disgaea series is great. I think that a team up with Nippon Ichi would be a good idea, too.

For an actual RPG, a Bethesda or Bioware team up would be cool. However, I don't think that it would be easy to make it work. Pokémon isn't a series that would mesh well with a western style.

I'm curious to see how Pokemon would be if Valve worked on it, too.

Atlus? Shin Megami Pokemon.
They already made a monster catching and fighting game, pretty much every game they made is one.

I'm gonna say Square Enix they may not always have the best or even good combat systems but they keep changing it just to try something different so at least we'd get to see something new and hopefully interesting from the combat.

Double Fine. I think that their brand of humor would lend itself beautifully to a Pokemon game.
Also this, we need more games to be written by Double Fine.

Obsidian, most certainly, sure it would be buggy as all hell and the battles would somehow have an even lower fps but wouldnt it be funny to finally see pikachu get blown to itty bitty bloody bits?

Bethesda. I really want there to be an open world pokemon game taking place over all the different regions.

Bethesda! You know that opening tutorial bit of Skyrim where a dragon attacks a city? Imagine that, except the dragon is a Charizard.

EDIT: Damn ninjas. I shouldn't take so long to read threads.
