A gyrfalcon. Because aplomado falcons just aren't big enough, and eagles are a bit too big. Besides, I'd love to just sit and draw it. They're so pretty and regal. Not to mention that they look like they'd just love to peck out your juicy eyeballs.

I was considering a dragon, but how in the world would I legally be able to feed the creature? Emphasis on legally.

Then I thought, why not a fire lizard from Pern? They're small and dragon-ish. Then I realized that fire lizards aren't all that bright most of the time.

I saw a news story about a Japanese family that had trained a penguin to go fetch and pay for groceries at the market. It was pretty great I gotta say.
