You realize that the flying and shooting energy balls part would still have to be learned, they're not automatically granted abilities that go with being a Saiyan.
And to everyone else that said they'd be a Saiyan, you do realize that while it's true that while even the weakest Saiyan is much stronger then even the strongest human, achieving power levels like those achieved by Goku and Vegeta by the end of DBZ's run required intense amounts of training and even then achieving the level of Super Saiyan (or beyond it) is not a sure thing. Sorry to burst your bubble, but just being a Saiyan doesn't automatically make you as powerful as Goku and Vegeta became.

This is very true.

I will be half-saiyan half-human, then I've got pretty sweet chances. Goten turns SSJ before he can even fly, so that'll be swell. And also, being half-Saiyan, I would at least definitely have the ability to fly and use ki blasts, even if I did have to learn it.

Even being a half-Saiyan doesn't guarantee that you'll be able to achieve the level of Super Saiyan. Gohan had to work really hard to achieve it. My guess is that Goten achieved it so easily because he was conceived after Goku had already achieved Super Saiyan, so the son of a Super Saiyan has a better chance of becoming a Super Saiyan. *shrug*
Anyway I'm derailing the thread. So back on topic, although I'm tempted to jump on the Saiyan bandwagon myself; I actually think I'd rather be a Namek. The Nameks have some awesome abilities inc. regeneration and stretchy limbs. Either that or a creature like Majin Buu.
