I've actually spent a lot of time thinking about this. My game would be a Metroidvania-style 2-D platformer where the player character is armed with only two things; a grappling hook and rocket boots. This may sound redundant until you realize all the options that it gives you. You can fly around with your rocket boots, bashing enemies, set them on fire, etc., or use your comparatively quiet grappling hook to hide in high places, swing along and kick an enemy right in the face, grab stuff and toss it around, all good stuff. But the real kicker is when you use the two in conjunction. Grab an enemy, fly up to the ceiling, then drop him onto his coworker. Slowly lower yourself until you're directly above an enemy, then turn on your boots and fry him! The possibilities are endless!
