Yeah, she does get more agreeable as the game progresses, which is why I like her. I also really like her backstory, I just wish ME1 had loyalty missions, because I'm sure Bioware would come up with something awesome for her. Maybe in ME3 eh? So yeah, I'd either date Ashley or possibly Zoey from Left For Dead just because it would be cool to be dating a girl who is as much of a freak for horror movies as me.
And yeah, maybe xenophobic is a bit much. Just not entirely trusting or understanding when aliens are concerned.
Also I agree, I really hope she gets a much bigger role in Mass Effect 3.
It has been mentioned in this thread, but I'll have to mention it again. Tali'Zorah would be my choice, and it has a lot to do with her personality. The overall scope of it is one that has a certain appeal to me, and that it is similar to mine in some respects. She can be determined, reserved, and is quite cute in general. She's not afraid to speak her mind on an issue as well, which I find vastly greater then not speaking up when there is a problem at hand.
All that combined into a likable figure, and it drew me in. Thus, of any, I'd have to chose her.
