If you could exist in a game universe which would it be?

It's been mentioned a couple of times, but my first choice would be the Pokémon universe. Think about it: very rarely is the entire world/universe/human race threatened, and it's entirely possible for a regular person to live a regular life. Also, Pokémon. 'Nuff said.

Failing that, and because it also hasn't been mentioned, but, if could be a capsuleer, the EVE Online universe would be quite awesome. The only problem would be the chance of not being a capsuleer, in which case it'd barely be different to regular existence...

I'd take the Pokemon world too, but I'm not opposed to the newer generations as most seem to be. Gen 1 was obviously the best though.

Yeah Pokemon. Oh gosh if they ever make virtual reality I'll just get transported into the world i'd just stay there XD. No one dies and a 10 year old kid can save the world i'm in.

I'm going to say the Mass Effect universe.

The idea of humanity moving out amongst the stars and interacting with alien species, developing new technologies, and colonising new planets is as much an appeal to me as the actual game storyline.

Chalk another up for Mass Effect. The only pause I have is well... do the Reapers win? If so, I think I'll settle for the Half Life universe.
Trying to reclaim Earth from alien invaders would be cool... but I guess we don't know how that will end either...

Does the universe my DnD campaigns take place in count? That is technically a game universe. (And you never said it had to be a video game universe) If that doesn't count then I'd have to say Dragon A.... Wait that would mean that if I ended up being a mage I'd have a miserable life locked away in a glorified prison... And plus the DA world is just generally a crapsack world.... Mass Effect or Skyrim. (When Skyrim comes out obviously)

The universe is just great. I mean you have whatever ability you get and either fight against scientists or magicians depending on your side.
I'd sure be on the science side because I hate religion and would never be on it's side.

Personally, I like the idea of living in the Fable universe. Though I'd probably just buy up property instead of questing, that would still be pretty awesome.

I would pretty much be happy with anything that isn't the Sims universe. As soon as my god gets bored, I'll be locked in a small room until I starve to death, or worse. That would definately suck.

Borderlands. i think it'd be very exciting to live on a planet like pandora, with a massive skag or a big angry bandit chief awaiting me around every corner, and ultimately opening the vault and blowing up the giant destroyer beast inside, and, with the vault opened and me rich, i'd leave pandora and go elsewhere. perhaps i'd even raid the secret army of general knoxx.
