So heres a question, if you could forget everything you know about any game just so you could experience it all over again, what would that game be? for me it would probably have to be Fallout 3...i remember how awesome it was seeing the wasteland for the first time...finding megaton...blowing it up...i want that feeling back again... anyway, what about you?

FF XII

Discovering that world, that story and those secret areas was one of the most magical gaming experiences of my "career", even though I was in my mid-twenties at the time.

Twilight Princess.

I used so many walkthroughs. I now want to do all the puzzles without help.

I'd love to forget everything I played back to the first time I rented a PlayStation with FFVII.
I remember the awe I felt during the opening sequence and later when exiting Midgar and exploring the world for the first time, hearing this music :

Planescape: Torment. To experience that game for the first time again would be wonderful, with all the revelations, plot twists and especially seeing Ravel for the first time, as well as the satisfying ending.

Portal, 100%, me and my best friend at the time spent all night working our way through it, figuring out puzzles, finding secret areas, getting to glados, it was insane. I remember when we found the first area with blood-smeared hand prints and words scratched in the wall we almost shit ourselves. That game freaked me way the fuck out. Good Times.

Someone ninja'd me with Planescape: Torment, and so I must commit seppuku (with the Blade of the Immortal, of course)

Or I could mention FFVII as a runner-up. YEAH I KNOW, but I played it when it was all new and fancy, you young whippersnappers, and it was a magical journey. It will never be the same again, not even with a fancy remake. I'd mention IX, but that stays awesome.

Okami!
Okami, Okami, Okami!
That game blew me away and made me adore it the first time, I want it to do it again!

Edit: I just saw that I was beaten to the punch, but SCREW IT.
OKAMI!

Forget so I can play it again and enjoy it to the fullest: Portal/Portal 2 (counting them both since Portal 2 is just more portal puzzles)

Forget so I never have to remember it actually existed in the first place: FFX-2

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Me and my friend spent days on that game, getting everything, doing everything we could in the game. Then we completed it and right at the end my gamecube decided not to read the disc anymore. So many good times spent on that game.

MASS EFFECT! God there is nothing like the first time. Sure the other play through are still great still make me smile and I thoroughly enjoy myself but nothing beats the first time I got to experience and discover that universe and story.

Also it was the first game I played that had so much detail put into well everything, Like seeing Sovereign fly off of Eden Prime at the beginning to wandering the Citadel, heck I even appreciated the Elevator bits or the ship boarding segments because it did nothing but allow me to become more and more immersed in the game.

Pokemon Silver (and all Pokemon games after). I loved Red but Silver is still my all-time favorite Pokemon. It introduced some of my favorite ones (like Steelix, Octillery, Lugia and, Tyranatar). I want to forget about it so I can relive it fresh. Then I can play Soul Silver and have my mind explode.

Definitely Final Fantasy IX. I love that game so much and I'd love to experience it like it was new again. Hearing that beautiful soundtrack for the first time. That'd be amazing to feel again.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The most enthralling part of the game is unraveling the whole mystery, so playing it again just feels meh.

Valkyria Chronicles. I would likely have said Okami, but that was mentioned above, so I thought to give this little gem some screen time. It's just a beutiful game to me, the opening cinematic is enough to get me all emotional.

fallout 3. i had half of the game spoiled for me.
most of all i'd love to experience point lookout without knowing what was going to happen (a.k.a. weird bat-shit hallucinations and the occult book mission)
