Andrew Ryan from Bioshock, preferably before he became the paranoid dictator that he was during the game. I think i could learn a lot from the ambitious, idealistic Andrew Ryan wo built Rapture as an individualist utopia.

Agent Morgan from Deadly Premonition. Seems like an incredibly fun guy to talk to. I'd love to discuss some old movies with him. Maybe have him give some anecdotes from his work. These are always pleasant.

Krystal from Star Fox... because even i wont pass up the oppurtinity for some eye candy and it might as well be the kind i can't get in real life.

While we're at it we might also found a team of crimefighters.

Dr. Kleiner (Half Life), Auron (FFX) and Hermaeus Mora.

(Somebody mentioned Sheogorath already, but honestly, he would ruin a dinner party. Hermaeus can at least be civilised, and would probably have some interesting things to contribute to discussion. He wouldn't try anything with Auron there).

And if I was trying to throw the worst dinner party ever, then I'd have to invite the Windmill Man, Alma, and one of those twitching monstrosities from Silent Hill 2.

Can it be a romantic meal? If so, then April Ryan (from The Longest Journey), Zoey (from L4D), and Vanille (from FF13). Although in the last case it wouldn't matter so much, given she's all but been confirmed to be lesbian.

Otherwise, probably the following:

Doctor Catherine Halsey, so we could have interesting debates about Forerunners and their tech and society, and about moral and ethical issues (I'd love to get inside her mind if she were real...).

Daxter, for plenty of comedy and some interesting (if true) stories to make the dinner more fun.

Shaun Hastings, because he'd be interesting to chat to about history, he's a fellow Brit and we could pour scorn together on the USA, and his brand of sarcasm would also be pretty funny to listen to. And probably agree with. And we would eat cheese steak, according to the Captcha...

-Link because Link. Also, like others are saying I don't need a whole bunch of noisy characters at the table.

-N, I would love to debate the essence and legitimacy of Pokemon battles with him. Plus he may give me a Pokemon if I beg enough.

-Samus, because I have to know how the Morph Ball works.
