Shape-shifting

Depending on how broken it is, it can be as useful as just taking the identity of other people to having power only limited to the user's imagination. Although, taking someone's identity is extremely useful regardless.

A flying brick powerset. You know the type, strong, durable and can fly. Pretty much the most common superpower ever used. That or the telepathy/telekinesis combo.

the power to have a healing factor like that of deadpool's.

also, im worried about X-men first class...it takes place in the 60s from what i can tell. soif the first movie is in the near future wouldn't that mean mystique is pushing 50? seriously after wolverines messed up movie these films are getting some timing issues.

and are they going to tie this in with the avengers and the other marvel movies? cause mutant are a huge part of the avengers.

Physical manifestation of emotion would be cool along with a two way empathetic bond where I can read peoples emotions on a telepathic level as well as transmit my own emotions into others.

The power to be James Bond (Roger Moore's incarnation). C'mon. He can drive anything, speak any language, and he's a total ladies' man. What could be better?

Ordinarily i'd say immortality, but today i'm going to mix it up a bit and take the power to control gravity. Who wouldn't want the power to make people float into the air at any given moment only to reverse it and have them all come crashing back down to Earth?

Either Flight (with actual wings), the abality to freeze time, or invisiblity.

I would use my powers for evil good rather than good evil.

The power to bend time to my will. I'd create so many messed up alternate timelines that the universe would explode.

The power of mind control through verbal suggestion, so when I tell people to GTFO they actually GTFO...

Shape shifting, no contest.

I don't like being recognized in public, and the ability to change my face would be a huge boon. Plus, it would be fun to look like whoever you want.

My first choice is "The ability reconstruct/manipulate reality" though that probably won't fit in X-men so... The ability to manipulate the space around me, say maybe 2mile radius or iuno... however whatever is allowed. It be nice to be able to break down, connect, and reconstruct space. Time and space is connected as well, so that'd be fun.
