You my friend are thinking of the Masterball. The regular Pokeball has a terrible performance decline when used against powerful things.

Edit: The cloak and dagger from TF2 would be my second choice. I'd like being able to be invisible indefinitely.

I'd probably choose the physics gun from Gmod, as long as when I pick up things they don't fall apart, so make it so they don't get picked up from a point... I'd hate to pick someone up from one place in their arm... and then I just end up ripping half of it off :/

Ability: Changing the direction of gravity a la And Yet It Moves, or Alex Mercer's ability(s), because it all stems from one disease or bio-organic matter or whatever.

Item: Springed foot attachments from Portal, to use with the altering direction of gravity. Well that or one of two (mainly) vanity items: the Golden Wrench from Team Fortress 2, because decorating would be easy, or the hookshot-parachute combo from JC 2.

Edit: I've got one more to add to both: Ability: The ability to type console commands into any computer and have it activate in real life. Almost late for work? Noclip! (Note you can still touch computers but can't be hit by 'em.)

Or--Item: Essentially the above except it can fold up into a tiny cube (still visible) and I can only type stuff in on that instead.
