Couple of things have to go into making a decision like this.
First off; is it unobtainable by other means? Sure, being able to fly would be cool and all, but there are few instances where other means of transportation are unavailable. Select a power that you can't get otherwise. Invisiblity or Mind Control come to thought. Although there might be a way to gain similar abilities, it is highly unlikly that efficient or easy-to-obtain sources would exist.
Second; government interfearence.(by the way,I'm sorry about spelling, very late here) Flying around a city is great until the government finds out and sends a squad of special forces to capture you, and buddy, no way you can fly faster than an Air-to-Air missle. We go again to Invis. and Mind Con. powers. Neither is to aparent when being used unless your really obious about it.
Finally; will it benifit you? Flying ain't gonna pay the bills (unless you get an awesome Carnival deal) while some others allow you to obtain items like money with great ease. There.
