If you could have any comic book (Marvel, DC, Other) made into a movie adaptation, what would it be?

Annihilation is one of my favourite comics and seems like it would make an amazing movie, but it's quite subplot heavy and I doubt I'd like it as much when those were inevitably cut out.

So really, let's just have a goddamn Green Arrow movie already.

I'd like to see Johnny The Homicidal Maniac, just to see how far they'd take it. Also, for the line "OH MY GOD, SOMEONE PUT SHIT IN MY PANTS!"

EDIT: These should NOT be live-action, nor should they be CG. Bring back good, honest animation. You know Invader ZIM? I want JTHM like that, not Pixar-crap.
I haven't actually read any of the JTHM comics but I have seen every episode of Invader Zim and loved it, is the humour similar?
The art style's very similar, but the humour is different. If you can find it, give it a go. It's quite dark, given the subject matter, but it keeps you (or at least, me) reading. Luckily, if you don't like it, there's only 7 issues to read, not counting spinoffs.

Lol that was pretty much my reaction when I first saw one of the comics on the shelf. I just had to get it and then I was like, what? what?!?!

As much as a GOOD film adaptation of The Flash would please me, I recognize that super speed is very hard to do right in any medium, especially live action. So all I can do is hope for the day when somebody figures out how to pull it off right. Good thing I'm patient.

Though I gotta admit, this moment would be pretty tough to beat in Hollywood.

It's about LDB, who is an emo kid who looks like a sackboy, there's no explanation or attention drawn to it in universe (I assume it's a how he sees himself thing). But the writing is compelling and the way he's drawn makes you immediately empathize with him. Would make a good indie-niche movie.

Also a quadrilogy of Planetary films. And a Transmetropolitan tv series. And a Nextwave film. Of all the Warren Ellis comics to be filmed, why RED?
Desolation Jones and Ignition City would be pretty cool also.

That was the point of her character, awkward geeky and a bit in over her head though capable of surmounting that, I enjoyed her myself, it wouldn't have been the same if it was a dude instead. Nightwing is a total dick to be honest, and the friction he has with batman is just palpable they can barely stand one another unless its necessary to the "mission", so a young version of that would be terrible.

Ultimately a Young Impressionable robin is the best pairing for an aging batman who(at the end of the comic) wants to spread his ideals amongst the youth so the future is a better place.
Oh I know what that version of Robin was supposed to be, doesn't make me hate her any less. I didn't really care for the gender, just the same retarded costume.

What I'd like for a Batman sidekick is, say, someone who can hide in the shadows just as well as him and scout ahead for Bats or do stake-outs. That's basically what I wanted to say with Nightwing-esque, his costume is perfect for a Batman sidekick. None of that bright yellow and green bullshit.

I could even do with the impressionable attitude, the young and springy thing, as long as he/she doesn't look so bloody stupid.
