As someone said, a Phoenix would be pretty cool(but preferably not one always on fire)
Also I will leave out pokemon because that can be a thread of it's own.
Winnie the Pooh, he has a nice calming voice
oh oh oh or that bird that can mimic any sound it hears, it was caught doing chainsaw noises because it heard them when they were chopping down the trees.

A Venus Djinni from Golden Sun (If I had to choose one I'd say Ground, but really it'd be ideal to have 4+ of the little guys).
