If you could have any fictional vehicle, what would it be?

Do you even have to ask?

Enterprise FTW
As neat as the Enterprise is, I would rather have a Wells class ship like the USS Relativity.
All the features of the Enterprise, but with time travel capabilities (without the usual Star Trek time travel hijinks) and the ability to beam people on board from any point in time...
Although, if you can time travel forward, what's to stop you from getting hold of an even more advanc ship :/

THIS [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernova_(comics)] could be worth having, assuming it'd work with your DNA.

Also, no love for the Iron Man armour?

I would like a Skyship as shown in The Edge Chronicles (First age of flight of course)

For space travel I prefer the classic and beautiful Firefly class transport.

For driving, I would like a DeLorian (with built in time machine, naturally).

Only problem with a Culture GSV is you don't get to be captain unless you're a super-intelligent AI
Million vs billion depends a bit on what the AI prefers too. Some have less room, due to for example larger engines, or a stockpile of attack craft, etc.

Still, I don't mind not being the captain if I get to live in such a utopia. Carefree hedonist paradise? Sign me up.

I don't need any fancy shmancy spaceships and the like. I'd happily take a Vendetta Gunship.

Raining Lascannon death down on today's armies would be amusing. Even though its in game capabilities don't really gel with it's appearance.

I mean, look at this.
No Corvette compares to Sideswipe's Corvette Stingray prototype form from Transformers 2.
The fact that they never put this beauty into production is a tragedy.

It's basically the only Corvette in decades that doesn't look like crap, and instead it's just MAGNIFICENT.

All these predictable responses, going for large and imposing. I will take one of theese please

This.

Once you have a Tardis, life is pretty much solved isn't it? You'll never grow hungry, thirsty, sleep deprived. Never run out room for things and trinkets.

Your only problems are staving off boredom and being lonely.

So practically, I'd choose that.

Impracticaly?

NOBODY has chosen this yet? REALLY? Page 3 too. This is madness! (Or there's a lack of Star Fox fans)

I wouldn't mind most iterations of this baby. Adventures has the rounded design I'm fairly fond of, but the Assault version is really nice. Star Fox 64 has it looking good too, but I also really like the sharper design of the Arwing Fox pilots in Command. So many choices...

Crosshairs is just a Corvette wishing REALLY hard that it was as badass as a Viper...and coming up real short. And the trenchcoat is just silly.

Sideswipe was an elegant, sleek, powerful looking beast all its own that FINALLY does justice to and outshines the Corvette Stingrays of old.

Yeah... As cool as Asault's Arwing design was, the fact that I can just turn my Gummi Ship into an Arwing in general leaves me for more opportunities to customize it to my overall liking...

Unless were talking Landmasters, then THAT's another story... that's also relevant to this thread, I guess...

The UD-4L "Cheyenne" Dropship from Aliens (1986). I've wanted one of these things ever since I first saw the movie back in like 1992-ish.

I'm just going to jump on the "awesome ships which are also cute anime girls" bandwagon OP started, and call dibs on Tsundere Heavy Cruiser Takao.

I would go with Dahak. What is a "Dahak", you might ask? Well...

It's the moon. Or rather, a "spaceship" (by loose definition, because hey, MOON!) that is the size of the moon (in fact it was disguised as the moon for a couple thousand years in the parent novels) that is also fully sentient (and quite a nice fellow to boot).

On the offensive side it has FTL capability, its own fleet of warships with an entire factory capable of churning out even more ships, weaponry that can blow anything short of a attacking fleet numbering in the millions out of space and it has a nigh-infinite supply of gravitron warheads that can literally tear apart planets (eat your heart out, Death Star!).

But the best part? It also has faculties capable of supporting a crew of several million and it even has a mansion-sized captain's cabin with all the luxuries one could imagine plus several recreational centers that are literally giant parks the size of a Central Park, and it has an entire human augmentation suite that allows people to enhance themselves to the point of becoming supermen with several hundred year lifespans.

So yeah, I would probably just take my sweet moonship, take a few million of the most reasonable people on the planet with me and I would just sail the stars for discovery and fun.

Pride of Hiigara, But as captain not as as pilot. with a full crew, and resource collectors.
That would be sweet.
