If you could have any game in HD, what game would you want?

Nice thing about PC games, is that with a lot of the 3D post-DOS gaming era games, you can get it into HD one way or another, so long as your comp supports it.

For instance, you can edit registry values to get Homeworld 1 to run in HD.

agreed, and let it be the god damn final mix versions. if they remade the kingdom hearts final mix game's in HD they would have another reason for people to buy them because it has content that we ´havent played before.

Deus Ex, the original. I recently picked it up and after some (heavy) graphics modding it wasn't that bad. Except for those awful polygon faces. *shivers*

This. It feels like with the introduction of Human Revolution the technology and aesthetics of society in the Original degenerated over the course of the 20-ish years that spanned between the two. Obviously a direct effect of the limitation of graphics technology at the time the game was made.

Deus Ex and DE: Invisible war both require a remake now otherwise it's going to be hard for player of Human Revolution who have not yet played the prequels/sequels (it's confusing, I know) to pick them up and give them a fair chance. This on the condition that the revert the Augmentation system in Invisible War to that of the Original, of course.

That said; A complete overhaul on the Thief series and on the Final Fantasy games between 6 and 9 would be much appreciated. 10 and 12 not so much. The graphics of the two are still well within tolerable levels in my opinion.

I would say the entire X-Wing Series... Not the Rouge leader crap. But the original Star Wars X-Wing, Tie Fighter, X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter (with expansion pack), and Star Wars X-Wing Alliance. Also Star Wars Force Commander and Rebillion.

Maybe Fallout: New Vegas. I didn't pay much attention to it for a while, but once I got to the Strip, it became glaringly clear how bad the texture quality was in places.
