That would be a guy in armor. No, they're not real.

What would it be?

My avatar can easily tell you that. Though, I can't seem to find a mythological beast that relates to a wolf right now.
Fenrir would be a good one to look to.

OT: I'll take a pair of ravens: Huginn and Muninn.

I would like either a Rober-Berbil (as my own personal creepy robot servant) or a tame Pegasus, because a flying horse that you could ride would be the SHIT!

Nuckelavee, because I can just spritz him with a water bottle if he misbehaves. Few, if any, of you have given any thought to controlling your pet and I'm very disappointed in you.

A dragon. I know its been said plenty of times before, but that because its a fucking dragon. They can fly you around places (cheap transportation), they are usually pretty intelligent (always someone's to talk to), they have elemental breath weapons, and nobody is going to mess with a dragon at his back. NOBODY! So a dragon just seems like the perfect pet. Although it would be more like a companion to a pet. I doubt a dragon would liked to be considered such a lowly thing as "pet". But still, you get my drift.

Although the humor of me choosing a dragon as a pet with my avatar is not lost on me. Eh I was never a fan of black dragons anyway. Brown dragons seemed so much cooler (they can swim through sand!).

I'd want a Golem. A large and powerful, not to mention thoroughly obedient servant made entirely out of inanimate matter that's easily controlled? Yes please! I would call him Jeeves...or perhaps Alfred...
You'd have to live in a Jewish ghetto first, and the closest we've got to that in this country is wherever they keep all the motels in Scottsdale.

i would have a dragon that can shoot lighting, that can shrink down to a very small size, i would also have it from a egg so i can raise him into the battle hardened defender of JUSTICE! he would also be intelligent and we would often have conversations about who would win Superman or Goku but i would always end up losing when he threatens to melt my face off........good times

Anubis isn't an animal. He's a god.
Perhaps I should have specified, if you know much about Egyptian mythology. Thought that'd have been obvious.

I want to say Anubis, but I'm certain I'm wrong.
Yup.

Do gods qualify as mythological creatures? Cause if so I have quite the dirty mind and don't really want to name my choice.
What's your choice?

The Anubite is a servant of the god Anubis, it is said to take on his form to protect the dwellings of Pharoahs. They roam within the Valley of Kings to guard their final resting places.

Fun Fact: Almost every time you see a jackal-headed man, it won't be Anubis, it'll be an Anubite, as Anubis was not believed to be particularly warlike. The Anubites however are impervious to fire and normal weapons, and are guardians of the gods.

"We, known as the Jackals, the priests of Anubis, are the guardians of their glorious tombs, or their humble graves. We are the keepers of the dead. We are the servants of Anubis. We are Cynopolis. "
-Chapter of the Dead, Book of Ma'at
"We, the Anubite's, are the guardians of Anubis, the guardians of the Pharaohs, and the servants of AmOn Ra. May evil rain and fire rain from the sky should AmOn Ra be disturbed."
-I can't remember
