I don't think it happens to everyone. My friend was a history buff though, and wouldn't just glance at pages to remember them, he read alot... So I have no idea how it'll be for you. It could simply be that your brain overlaps the information and just can't focus on those years anymore.

It's not 100% certain, but it's what I've seen in a few cases.

Yea, I dont have big goals in life.

I have a 90 degree slice when i golf...deadly on driving ranges. As for figuring out the memory loss it can affect people diffently but simple memory tests are required before they can make an accurate guess so it will be a while before i know the complete answer. It's not un-heard of though for people to forget things but it's usually pretty small but gets worse when you are 70+ for most.
