Square Enix and Bioware. Then we can get a Final Fantasy that doesn't suck. Or just a really good RPG in general.

Harmonix and Namco, to develop a really good rhythmic fighting style for Eddy Gordo/Christie Monteiro on Tekken.

Uh, what would be the point? The idea behind "pick two studios" is one makes up for the other's flaws. Valve and Bioware make epic games, Valve just takes forever to release them. So pairing them with Bioware would make for double the epicness (wait, that sounds like a good idea...) and it would still take forever to release... Or maybe Bioware and EA would pressure Valve to make it faster... Nevermind, this is a good idea...

Monolith and whatever publisher is currently squatting on the rights to Shogo: Mobile Armor Division. I've been waiting for that sequel they promised in the end credits almost as long as Duke Nukem fans have been waiting for Duke Nukem Forever, and the ones who have had the game since 1998 have been waiting at least as long. As much as I love valve, I really hate the fact that Half Life overshadowed Shogo so badly that the expansions didn't even get completed, let alone the sequel.

I also think there's a lot of people who would like to see the same thing, but replace Shogo with No One Lives Forever, which won't ever get another sequel because the rights were owned by the publisher, instead of Monolith.

Valve and Double Fine. Valve to do the engine, then let Tim go crazy on the world.
Edit: Epic Ninja'd by the guy above me.

Blizzard + Bioware for a Mass Effect MMO that captures the amazing narrative strengths of Bioware with the excellent MMO design of Blizzard. This would be the MMO that would actually pull me away from WoW, if it existed. I would also gleefully accept the reverse, Bioware taking the Warcraft narrative and making an awesome single player RPG for it (please please PLEASE give a Paragon interrupt where I can punch Garrosh in the face, I'll give you all my shiny purples...)

Nintendo + Square Enix since they seem to work extremely well together, enhancing each other's strengths and compensating for their weaknesses. Super Mario RPG 2, anyone?

Bioware + Square Enix for bringing a more interactive element to the Final Fantasy narrative (a real sequel to FF7 would make me happy, as long as it neglected most of the Complica... I mean, Compilation). And Bioware would start getting better (or more varied) character design for hot male love interests... less short hair and stubble, more long hair and elegant bishonen features, please. ^_^

Blizzard + Ubisoft (Montreal Studios) for Assassin's Creed: Dalaran. ;-)

Nintendo + Blizzard for designing a strong online multiplayer for some of Nintendo's classic franchises (either map/server based or a persistent world, MMO, whatever - imagine a game like Super Mario Galaxy where other people might be after the same star, racing for it, etc)

Ubisoft + Bioware for a more free-roaming take on the Mass Effect universe... an AC: Citadel kind of thing would be awesome.

Really, when in doubt I just tend to add Bioware (for the story design) or Blizzard (for MMO conversion). ;-)

Bullfrog and Westwood making Dungeon Keeper 3.

I have no idea how the hell that would work but I know it'd be awesome.

High five, man. Valve + DF is much better than Valve + Bioware or whatever. Both companies have fresh ideas, great game designers and a sense of humor, yet are very different. It would be really exciting to look at what they could have made together.

Frictional Games (the 5 people that made Amnesia) and...hmm...Konami (Silent Hill).
Wouldn't that make for a delightfully scary game? :D

Valve and Insomniac. Greatest shooter possibly ever.
Teamfortress 2, mixed with Ratchet and Clank weapons?!

I'd buy it!

OT: DICE and Infinity Ward, that would be one hell of a shooter.

I thought of another one! Volition and Rockstar North! That way they could make a free roaming crime game with the perfect balance of realism and hilarious over the top fun! Think about it, combine the realistic physics engine, "good" graphics and story of GTA4 and the hilarious script, silly fun and customization of Saints Row! I've been thinking of my own concepts for a game like this, but Volition and Rockstar would be able to pull it off!

Argh.

For quality and capacity, I would have to say that Valve and Blizzard are probably right up there at the top.

Special mention goes out to S2 Games, nice one with Savage 2 being free (how the fuck did you manage that?!).

Also to Riot Games, for being jokers, as demonstrated here:

BioWare. I only need BioWare. If I could, I would probably trade my soul in return to get BioWare to make a game for me.

Treyarch and 2K.
Call of Duty: Blackoshock.

Nah, I kid, really I'd have...
Hmm, this is tough.
I don't know, honestly.
Everything I already thought of has been said already.

Maybe... Rockstar and Treyarch.
A MASSIVE semi-freeroaming game where you play as Mason, and, I dunno, you do cool missions and shit.
I say again, I don't know. I DO know it would be cool.
I guess I just want Black ops 2 really badly.

Capcom and Rockstar. Phoenix Wright Liberty City here I come!

SEGA and LucasArts to make the shittiest game ever.

And for a serious choice, Naughty Dog and Ubisoft Montreal for quite possibly, the coolest game of all time.
