Obsidian and Valve

It's an obsidian game without all the bugs!

Or for something really original and mind-blowing: Double Fine+Obsidian+Valve's QA team. A hilarious RPG with stylized art direction and a great story? Yes please!

Captcha: Noberre could. Thanks for not giving me the end Captcha! Now I'll never know what she could do :(

Valve and Ubisoft: An Assassin's Creed game set in City 17 (Where Aperture and the Combine have teamed up to rule the city) with a Portal gun and Desmond retconned out of existence. Imagine: Acrobatic portal violence with the kickass moving panels from Portal 2 that are constantly shifting and changing the city, and naturally you can swan-dive off the top of the Citadel.

Okay, this game needs to be made now.

Blizzard and Bioware.

Was thinking the same thing when I read the title. Bioware could do the story while Blizzard focuses on the gameplay and balance, that game would be perfect. =)

Criterion and Bizzarre Creations, to create a really fast, furious and insanely fun multiplayer racing game.

Square Enix and Dimps, to see just how shitty of a game you can end up with when you put two of the shittiest developers in a room together. And maybe they can get Warren Spector to help so they'll have someone to flame everyone who doesn't like the game once it releases.

I also like the idea about Valve and Blizzard working on a game that would be delayed to infinity. :p

For a good game that might actually come out while I'm alive though... Perhaps Insomniac and Rockstar? I bet they could do something interesting together.

Just for something different - Nintendo and Team Ico to work on a new Zelda game. Maybe throw in a dash of Rockstar's open world ways too.

Bioware and Oddworld Inhabitants. An epic RPG set in the Oddworld universe, with all of OI's ingenuity and quirks, as well as Biowares incredible writing talent.

Bethesda and Blizzard. Bethesda is awesome at huge sprawling worlds with awesome stories that just sometimes lack a bit of polish (especially new vegas which was loaded down with bugs at first) and blizzard is really good at releasing things that are polished to a mirror shine. Besides, who wouldnt want a combination of Diablo and fallout 3?

Eidos/Ubisoft. Let's put the current caretakers of the Thief series and Splinter Cell together to make the most kickass stealth game ever. Or another Thief sequel. Please?

Bethesda+Crytek you'd get some sort of awesome rpg fallout, crysis with timesplitter humor.

Or CD projekt RED + Sega to get some sort of adult rpg with the visceral melee combat of condemned.

side note I don't even remember the witcher taking flak for the sex in it compared to mass effect, hell I think Geralt bones like 3 people before the second act.

Bungie and Valve. [turns on flameshield]

Rag on Bungie all you want, but their commitment to the community is awesome, and now that they dont have to worry about Halo anymore, I cant wait to see what they can come up with. I recently read the article about the guys who played Halo 2 for over 2 weeks after the original Xbox live was shut down, and Bungie was cheering them on the whole way. Then, they gave the guys Halo Reach Beta keys to show their appreciation.

Then add Valve's community dedication, and you could have one of the most awesome online shooter games, EVER. Yes, it wouldnt come out for over 10 years, but it would be amazing. Hell, anything those two came up with would be amazing.

id Software and Valve

Technical genius combined with one of the best game design teams out there.
I'd have them making the next Deus Ex rather than leaving it at the mercy of Squeenix.

Bethesda and bio-ware. probably look like a cross between Mass effect/Fallout/Oblivion.
I feel like many people will feel ninja'd by this post.

Basically, Fallout 3/New Vegas and Mass Effect 2 (less so 1) and the KoTORs are among my favorite games ever. So combining them would possibly be the greatest thing ever. I picture Fallout setting, with Mass Effect style conversations. Oh, and for the sake of whatever higher power you may or may not believe in, let Bioware's writers do the main story and characters. The main story was arguably the worst part of Fallout 3.

Giant sandbox + MMO + Tim Schafer = Awesome
