A System Class GSV. Eighty or so kilometres of spaceship, capable of creating more spaceships, controlled by a hyper intelligent AI. What? It would lead the way into a much better society... Well at least I think it would anyway.
I was going for the Plate Class GSV. Same reasons though.
Oh awesome :D I thought about going for something smaller, but then thought, why not get the largest ship class available, and let it do a Sleeper Service but on a much grander scale? Then use all the awesome tech it contains to convert my body to that of a default culture citizen? Then do the same for anyone else who wants it, and then make a giant space-faring anarchistic society akin to the Culture...

Also, fucking captcha being shit and stuff. Took my like 10 tries to even get the picture to show.

I'll be massively unoriginal and say TARDIS as well. It was the first thing that popped into my thoughts when I read the title. (Remember that it has actually made The Doctor a new sonic screwdriver on occasion, so I'd get that as well...)

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I often feel a little panicky, and could do with it's soothing slogan.

The force. I could do so much with that.
Add in some lightsabers and force lightning and I'm good for saving the world.

The intersect from Chuck. It's so ridiculously overpowered for the sake of plot convenience. It's awesome.

Being torn between teleportation and time travel, the TARDIS.

Heck, that's probably how they advertised it back on Gallifrey:

"Why choose between space travel and time travel when you can have both? Drive a WHO Industries Type 70 Mark 1 TARDIS. Carefully and meticulously hand sculpted and hand grown from coral over the centuries, the new Type 70 offers a smoother, more robust and faster travel through time, space, and relative dimensions, and now features the ability to smash right through a temporal distortion grid, when before required a tough navigational solution. New added comfort and style and a harder to break and all around better camoflogue system round out this spectacular new model. Buy or lease today from 707,000 timemarks."

Do nonmaterial things count? If that's the case I want the ability to channel the One Power. If they don't then I want a Cyklop Stormwalker.

I'm shocked no one has said a portal gun.
Keep in mind that you can only apply portals on moon rock surfaces.

I would want few kilos of unobtainium . I guess it's supposed to have it's uses. Not sure what those uses are but at 20 million a kilo, I don't care.
If I recall correctly from the Avatar movie, unobtainium is supposed to be a mineral that's superconducting at room temperatures. Many benefits with a material like that, go look it up.

Why would someone wish for Curoch though?? The only reason they could want that is to kill me, which seems like a bit of a waste.
Provided they're strong enough to wield it, it can cut through anything and you can change it's shape to anything you want it to be. That's pretty damn handy if you ask me. Of course, there's always the risk of overexerting yourself and it killing you for funsies.
Yes, but there are many other fictional things that would be more handy than an all-cutting, shape-shifting sword :) It's greatest use is that it amplifies magic and can kill immortals permanently, so unless our fellow escapists can do magic or have immortal enemies, it would be an odd choice :)

The wormhole generating machines from Peter Hamilton's books. That would be epic. Help humanity become trans-planetary, while focussing on making life better and richer for everyone.

That would rock!

Failing that, the ability to teleport myself - like in Jumpers

A Combat Exo from RF:A.

Heavy shielding, heavier armor, infinite ammo rockets and 50. cal. MG, and a dash attack.

An Emperor class battleship.

About 5km long and is able to turn continents into slag with it's weapon systems.
I considered saying something like this, but the big thing is: who would you get to operate it?

The idea of having a kipper that can cut through anything doesn't appeal to you...

Okay, a few people have mentioned wish-granting items, but not the obvious one? I'm going to be the first to post the obvious one?

Okay, I want The Lamp. Specifically, the one from Aladdin, because that way I know I'm getting a benevolent genie.
