If you could instantly learn any song on any instrument, what would it be

Fairly simple question, personally I've always wanted to learn how to play the piano, but can't since I am a lazy fuck.

It would be a lot of fun if you could just skip through all the training and actual work and just get what you want anyway.

For me it would be Cohen's Masterpiece on the piano.

Oh and it has to be something a human being could actually play. Let's not go breaking physics.

So I wouldn't actually learn to play the instrument, is that correct? I would only be able to sit down and play whatever specific song I choose?

In that case, I'm really not sure. I've always wanted to play an instrument but to just know one song wouldn't scratch that itch at all for me. So I suppose with that said, I'm going to cheat and I will learn The Drums for "Run to the Hills" by Iron Maiden.

Very very very very quick drum rolls that I was never able to master in Rock Band (I could fight my way through "Hard" but could never nail the quick beat needed for "Expert". However, I've always wanted to learn how to play the drums and so insta-learning how to roll the drum THAT quickly is something that would come in handy.

Well, I would probably learn this on this:

Not just as some sort of party trick, either. It sounds incredibly pleasing to mine ear on that instrument in particular. The Souleman does some excellent piano music. Just listening to it is causing me to mimic the graceful and delicate hand movements of a pianist across my keyboard.

Easy:

For the proper effect I'd need an army of highlanders to charge at someone, though.

Pretty much any kind of slap bass piece, but I'm quite into Evan Brewer at the moment. I'm kind of cheating- I do play bass already, but I've never really gotten the hang of slap. The entire album is only composed of sounds from a bass guitar (with various effects and techniques), so that would be pretty bloody impressive to sit down and play through in front of someone.

Oh, Tartini's Devil's Trill Sonata for the violin, hands down.

My enjoyment of the piece aside, if I'm going to learn something instantly, it might as well be one of the most technically demanding pieces in existence.

I'd want to know how to play Serpentine Offering on the drums. Especially if that came with the ability to use those skills and apply it to other songs. You know, instead of just knowing one song and nothing else.

The violin from this song:

It's haunting, but I think it's absolutely amazing.

I have absolutely no idea how to play guitar, so if I could make one sing like Richard does in this song, I would be so pleased with myself.

If all I could do was play one song and nothing else, I would absolutely love to learn how to play that song by Buckethead from Guitar Hero 2...it would just be funny if I could play that and nothing else if only to explain to people that no really, I understand that technically Suicide Solution is probably easier to play but all I can play is Jordan by Buckethead.

Another option would be to know how to play Bloody Tears from the Castlevania series on the pipe organ.

I wish I could play this stunning piece of music:

I can play the piano, rather well, but I just haven't had the spare cash around to buy the sheet music for it. And sadly now I don't have a printer, but I have the spare cash :( It makes me sad

As a Trumpet player, I want to have the ability to play this song by memory perfectly each time I wanted:

I would learn the song of death on an instrument that is called the longsword.

Seriously though, probably the Symphony game menu music [www.youtube.com/watch?v=ooVBLesBdwk] on the piano.

Through The Fire and Flames on recorder. I could stand on the street and play until I gathered a set amount of money before I stopped and make a fortune in just a few days.

Seriously though I would probably just want to know the guitar from Paper Wings.

Give me a crazy vocal range and let me sing something like this [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VLY2bd5w8k] or this [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPAiH9XhTHc]. Never mind that I'm a guy!

It would definitely be something on the piano (maybe if they made a Rocksmith, but for piano, I would actually have a way of learning piano that I would get into).

Perhaps 'To Zanarkand' from Final Fantasy X? Maybe something more complicated if I thought about it for a while, but this song always gives me the tingleys so maybe I would gain the ability to give myself the tingleys...
