RPG's to those ancestors in the ice age. I mean think how cool it would be to shoot a mammoth with an RPG.
Not cool if you're the mammoth.
Also Ice Age = Avalanches caused by RPGs.

OT: Video Cameras.
I think you're just nit picking when you are missing the glaring awesome point that in some time in history there is an animal that's way big and one we could shoot with an anti tank weapon.
Pterodactyl + Stinger Missile = AWESOME :D
Yes, I'd like to see more of natures giants taken down by explosives. Like torpedoing a blue whale.
Why kill animals? I'd rather cause a huge avalanche with an RPG.

I know it's not "ancient" and all, but I'm trying be original here!

My plan is to introduce an ethanol-burning internal combustion engines to industrial-revolution -era folks so we would be driving on alcohol instead of petrol and thus rid the world of oil dependency before the term is even coined!

Henry Ford tried to introduce an ethanol-engine once, but the folks in the demonstration ceremony drank all of the "fuel" and, being an absolutist and all, Henry declared that "humanity is not ready to use ethanol as fuel" and thus his cars burned petrol from that moment onwards.

How about bringing a fluorescent light bulb when they first invented the light bulb? It would of been alot more brighter and energy saving.

Cause animals can't hurt me if they are in pieces. An avalanche would cause destruction to the poor defenceless natives.
Animals only attack you if you threaten them.
Anyway, I would find a mountain with nobody on it.

Fine, as long as on the way you feed hand grenades to a mountain goat.
Nope. I'll command the herd of mountain goats to attack you.

Games consoles. Just imagine what sort of technology we'd have now if the SNES was a stone-age invention! ;)

And I'll chuck a powerful magnet into the middle to pull out all the pins or the grenades I fed them earlier...

Ah explosives versus nature, truly the greatest argument. More powerful than debating the existence of a god.
I'm not even gonna start on that.
Still, my exploding goatherd surround you and blow you sky high.

Technology to harness alternative fuel sources (water, wind, sunlight) and just imagine the high tech stuff we'd have with an extra thousand years or so of developing that.

What you all seem to be missing is that if you introduce an invention to people of the past, whoever invented said item would not have and you wouldn't have it to bring.

Machine guns for every nation.

That would really stop their wild expansions with because of being totally defenseless against these.
People would settle down, stay at the cities and build social structure, work on the ways of human kind.
Instead of hundreds years of senseless power struggle and fear - progress.
