Basicly this thread is about you inventing something, mabey something stupid or something that could change the world!

My idea would be to invent a braclet that when equiped would change any language into your chosen language (Eg. Japanese - English), also it would make you translate your voice into the chosen languge (You speak japanese when you talk english, also it would change that language's into your chosen language (Japanese writting is now enlish) also if you write english you actually write it in Japanese...
I think it would change the world in many ways...for one I can go to japan.

OT I'd invent FTL travel. I get genuinely sad sometimes when I realize that there's a 99.9999% chance that I will never see another solar system in my life. I want nothing more than to soar through space. Fuck doing it to further humanity. I'd do it for me. Have my own pleasure space-yacht.

I would invent an ACCURATE lie detector, because there's nothing I can stand less than a liar. Plus it would reduce wrongful convictions to 0%, and completely render the "jury" system obsolete.

...But I would wait until everyone's opinion was heard before using it, just to make sure all of those "Because I just know" types got put in his/her place.
