If you could live in an Anime world...

Probably in the Naruto universe as someone who isn't a Ninja.
Be a baker or something mundane in that series and you're practically immortal.

Naruto would be cool ... as long as I could learn the kage bushin and copy myself to do work while I sleep. Buahaha.
But I would probably pick Cowboy Bebop too, mostly because of the future/ships as well.
Slayers would be neat - only if I could actually do some magic ...

I don't know if I would, the majority of anime worlds are a little bit 2 dimensional for me.
For example, if you were in the world of Naruto I think it would get annoying by the 4th or 5th time enemy ninjas show up to duel you/kidnap your family/try to burn down the town. That sort of stuff happens a lot.
Another example would be Slayers... The number of people in that world that have magical powers is really small and even if you do you're probably going to be chased out of anywhere you are because of it. And if you aren't one with magic you are stuck in a universe that lives by the sword and you have the chance of being accidentally disintegrated by someone who does (Lina does this to an entire city at least once a season).
Even one that sounds good to start like say, Love Hina would probably get boring eventually. How long can you have all those girls coming after you before they get jealous and angry at you for not picking one of them?
Also, you would need to learn Japanese I love anime, but I wouldn't want to live in one. Although I would definitely love to have blue hair.

I love anime, but I wouldn't want to live in one. Although I would definitely love to have blue hair.
Pokemon. One of the few animes that I know of in which the villains are fairly incompetent, thus you don't have to worry about them killing you/blowing up the planet. Also, the whole being on your own and seeing the world at the age of 10 thing while being relatively safe would have its perks. And of course, the main strong point: being able to have your own army of monsters that do your bidding, from giving you a ride on their backs as they fly/swim, to freezing your drinks to keep them from getting warm, to getting revenge on people who piss you off.

+Anima would be fun if I could be a +Anima... Same with Claymore -- I'd have to BE one.
Bleach as well; if we couldn't be a Soul Reaper, Arrancar, or Vizard, where's the fun? ('cept for Keigo, but he doesn't count.)
Fullmetal Alchemist, same dilemma. Where's the fun unless we can do Alchemy?

Bah, humans in Slayers tend to have a low death-rate. Even Lina's fireball is toned down enough to knock bandits unconscious. Besides, there are dragons in Slayers. Pet Dragons, at that (look at the first ep). That and I believe you can learn magic, it's not an inherent ability all the time (magic items, I believe Amelia learned her magic through being a princess).Flunk said:

I would not mind living in a OnePiece world, provided it's the uncut one. The death rate is higher, but it would be worth it to have a funky power from eating rare fruit. The downside, I guess, would be monotony from sailing on ships.
I would most like to probably live in the "Ah! My Godess!" Realm. Having a very attractive goddess as a girlfriend, having wishes granted through the power of prayer, and the wacky misadventures all work as a great incentive.
In a jam, however, I would most like to also live in the "Air Gear\" Realm. Having skates that auto-run on the power of your mind & can do amazing tricks would be amazing.
Of course, Pokemon or Digimon would be nice too.

Much as I enjoy Pokemon, I wouldn't want to live in their world for long. Kricketunes jumping out of boxes in the basement, Rattatas getting into your trash, critters attacking you when you crossed your lawn to get your mail...ugh. Plus the forcing of animals to battle is like legalizing dog fights. Just not cool.

Meet Alucard in a dark alley...
Play "The World" (long as I didn't get stuck there or go into a coma!)
Pet Inuyasha's ears, then step back to let my friend pounce on him
Go for a ride with Haruko on her flying Vespa
Be a magical girl
Be a ninja
Have pink, purple, green, or blue hair...naturally.
Visit the Petshop of Horrors...but just to look
Be able to punch someone so hard, they'd go flying.
