Myself, like a number of others have probably said in this thread, I'd go with Pokemon. What other world lets you raise cute animals from capture, and then pit them against each other to gain strength and become the very best?
Also because I'd re-raise the Scizor that got lost when my copy of Pearl died (Flat-out died, no idea why, no response, no change after cleaning, nothing). R.I.P. Sheena, the level 85 Scizor. May she have a bountiful place in paradise... While X-Scissoring those that deny it to her XD
