If you could live in any game

I would want to live in the Rune Factory 2 world, you can work for a year (or hire monsters to work for you) and amass tons of money, you get a house for free and it's easy to get a cute significant other with whatever personality archetype you prefer. There are always monsters to fight if you get bored and want to go exploring.
You can go to an island with a beach whenever you want. Yeah, sounds like fun to me.

It would depend on whether or not I was living as an NPC in the world or as the protagonist. If I were living as the NPC, probably Legend of Zelda, nothing traumatic seems to really affect the NPCs. If I had to be a protagonist though, probably Fable 2, just because of the many options I have, and the fact I'd have a dog that doesn't age to keep me company.

That's a strange question and one that is quite hard to answer, because by their very nature most video game worlds are a fair bit worse off than our own, and generally protagonists have a veritable shit storm of a life.

Were I to commit to an answer however I think i would like to live in a Pokemon world, it would be nice to legally own a dragon and a group of slaves to help with the housework. Obviously the legendary's would be as such and no one would likely own one, or they'd be protected or some such, but they'd make for good documentaries.

Funny I was thinking Overlord for the d=same reason.
So (even though I've never played a Pokemon game) I guess either Overlord or Pokemon.

Then again Mario's world looks like a trip too, especially if those mushrooms are what I think they are.

I'd have to go with the X3 universe, you start as a nobody with only a ship and 1000 credits to your name and if you do things right you can own massive factory complexes and an entire armada of warships and then declare war on the entire universe if you want, or one specific race that annoys you. As far as sandbox games go it's one of the few where I feel free to do pretty much whatever I want.

Voluntarely living in such a world isn't manly, it's just plain stupid.
Pokemon world for me.

At first I thought of "The legend of Zelda" but all the people you interact with seem to have mundane lives, so never mind that.

I know it's been said before, but it would have to be pokemon, it would easily make things more interesting in everyday life, I would train with Hitmonchan and just loaf around with, Snorlax whenever I'm feeling lazy and want something to nap with and atop of at the same time. Also, a real life Gengar would just be Badass.

I have to agree with Stevato, I nice peaceful life with my dog, wife and kids in Oakfield. I'd spend my time trying to recover the Sword of Aeons (Because I didn't destroy it in Fable 1).

I'd start up a trophy service hunting animals for rich peeps
